Rep.-elect Jamaal Bowman: "We need to bring H.R. 40 to the floor for a vote. We need reparations for the African American community. We need a federal jobs guarantee. We need Medicare for all."

#31 re “Well we both deserve 40 acres. They can keep the mule”.
The Marxists/Democrats already have the mule, aka their symbol, the Ass. In fact, the Democrats have more asses in Congress than does a Proctologists Convention have patients.
The only person I pay reparations
to, is my wife.
(flame away! This is a joke).
I just got an elbow to the ribs.
Cosmetically altered noses will revoke one's privilege and be subject to imprisonment or a $50,000 fine or turned into bacon.
Calculate the amount of reparations, then deduct 65 years of welfare, housing assistance, the cost to others of criminal behavior and loss of property values due to it, job preferences and set-asides, the cost of riots and disturbances...then set up a payment plan so each of the rest of us can get our share of the difference.
Gimme, gimme, gimme. No workie , jus gimme.
only if you or your ancestors owned black slaves. Otherwise, why should you?
Even if it was your ancestors, there is only a small to no obligation on your part.
What the black community needs is opportunities and for people to take those opportunities. There are plenty of black people who HAVE grabbed those opportunities and dragged themselves and their families out of poverty.
What will it take for an armed revolution? Stolen Presidential election? Forced to give money to Blacks?
These communist are a clear enemy.
I hope it does. I’m signing up for every welfare package I can get my hand on and retiring. My business is practically wiped out thanks to me saving so many lives from COVID by the governor shuttering my industry. Savings are OK but going fast. So f it. Im not working anymore. to support the illegals, the government workers, the welfare slobs, and with this disaster of a “relief bill” the rest of the world. And when the reparations come out I will identify as black and sue everyone who says otherwise.
Jeez, Dude or Dudette, learn how to resize a photo.
I did not spend 50 years of my life working just to give money to these useless parasites.
STFU. “We” need you to STFU and GFYS and then STFU some more.
What the black community needs is a change in culture. Young black men need to think of careers as Plumbers, Carpenters, and Electricians. Not aspiring rappers, football players, or basketball players. They also need to keep their pants above their asses. And young black women need to insist on marriage, and that the young black man courting them has a steady job before they have sex.
Judge Roy Bean would never have tolerated this nonsense.
Show me one set of text books on ANY topic that is printed in one version for whites & another different version for blacks.
SHOW ME
January is National Fire a Black Person Day
If there were different text books for different races that would be racism.
What I’m talking about is opportunities. Namely -
1. Do away with affirmative action, instead, identify bright students who are poor - whatever their race and offer them an opportunity to study in a dorm with really good teachers.
2. Do away with ebonics etc. in school teaching that “oh, the poor blacks can’t help being that way” but have rigorous standards — people will live up to them
Ultimately the biggest qualifier of success is if the father is there at home, married to the mother - any “black” or “white” or whatever person who has THAT, is far, far more likely to succeed materially and emotionally and spiritually.
Correct - a change in culture. If a kid after high school today becomes a plumbers apprentice, then in about 5 years (s)he would be earning nearly 100K in the right areas. Good, solid money.
