The chief scientific adviser for Operation Warp Speed said the frequency of allergic reactions to the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine is higher than what would be expected for other jabs, according to a report.
Dr. Moncef Slaoui said the last time he was updated on allergic reactions was Tuesday, when there were six cases, and added that the data on COVID-19 immunizations is lagging behind the actual numbers, CNN reported.
Slaoui said discussions are underway between the vaccine makers and the National Institutes of Health to consider holding clinical trials of vaccines in very allergic populations, such as people who always have to carry anti-allergy medication in an EpiPen.

I completely agree with you doc regarding what is going on at the moment.
On a personal note i had a very bad reaction to a flu shot years ago so i am a bit wary over getting ANY future vaccine or injections in general.
I have developed a phobia over needles that push instead of pull.
But that is just me i hope millions soon get safely inoculated and put this whole frigging nightmare to sleep once and for all.
Yeah, we did that, that's called Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 clinical trials. They "see if they actually work" by giving the vaccine to tens of thousands of closely monitored volunteers and compiling data over several months.
You can read the reports, but the short answer is: they work. 95% efficacy, which is better than most vaccines. We wiped smallpox off the face of the earth with vaccines that didn't work as well as these do.

I trusted him enough to cut me open so this is pretty easy.

Got a lady in the squadron I work for retiring because she does not want to take any more vaccinations that the military gives to its member before they deploy. I believe she’s doing the right thing.
Still, I never got yellow fever, typhoid or the plague. After the anthrax series, I got really sensitive to sun exposure.
But, they tested the vax on thousands of people!
I guess they forgot to include people with allegies in their testing???
Fair enough, but why do different strains of corona influenza go away, plus some colds that are corona and not rhino also go away? Why did the Bubonic Plaque finally go away when there were no safe-guards nor therapeutics? There were still plenty rats and lice to infect humans to die.
Let me tell you a conversation with my Daughter-in-Law (35)and her verified case of Covid. She had some flu like symptoms for 10 days and I just talked to yesterday via phone chat. She has now tested negative and is feeling great. So is her best friend (35) who was on the call, besides my Wife.
You can be right, but we have done more damage to our economic system than any of the deaths incurred. You know the damage, so I won't itemize.
So previous exposures are asymptomatic? Did some grad classes in immunology at UMSL for the heck of it...Disappointingly easy as I was doing assay development at the time in biotech.I didn’t learn as much as I had hoped to, and they never touched on clinical issues.
A doc I worked with years later came in anaphylactic. We tubed, etc, and saved him. He told me later he had been at a party and eaten a handful of nuts, that he could *feel* (his emphasis) everything that happened. Fortunately he was right down the road from us.
And they were able to tube him.
I am just unsure about it needing a previous challenge.
