PORTLAND (WGME) -- The Westbrook Police Department says a man has been arrested for allegedly chasing McDonald's employees with a chainsaw.
Police say they were called to the area on Riverside Street in Portland around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The suspect was arrested without incident near the Fireside Inn.
Officers say 26-year-old Alice Sweet of Portland entered McDonald's with a chainsaw, went behind the counter and stole a drink and some food while revving the chainsaw.
Police say when the manager confronted Sweet in the parking lot, Sweet chased the manager with the chainsaw and damaged two vehicles.
Sweet is charged with Robbery, Criminal Mischief, Refusing to Submit to Arrest and Violation of Conditions of Release.

Must be McRib season again.
Portland, Maine.
I’m thinking air quality was diminished in the place.
He’s an environmental criminal in my view....
Fast food workers are sometimes fast.
Alice, why did you send your brother to the fast food? Oh wait. He is you. Never mind. Ah s#¥t What the heck is it.
He looks like “Sully” from Commando with Arnold S and young Alyssa Milano.
The guy he held over a cliff, and then dropped.
I think he also clacked the bottles in Warriors. (Warriors, come out and playyyyy...)
Threw me off.
He looks to me like he could’ve been one of Malcolm’s droogs.
A little bit of the old ultra violence, chainsaw style (with fries).
Needs a glass of milk.
We need a follow up story about Alice’s drug screen.
I guess he thought he was in.. “Alice’s Restaurant”...
Looks like he was arrested for not wearing his mask properly.

Unless the wielder is VERY strong and quick, a chainsaw is a horrible weapon against anyone with even a bit of martial arts training.
If I was going to the garden tool shed for a weapon, I’d take the manual hedge clippers over the chainsaw.
Although there is a shotgun in my garden tool shed, so I’d take that.
