Nine months into the coronavirus pandemic and people are still throwing tantrums about wearing masks in public places.
Last Thursday, a passenger on a Frontier Airlines flight from Cincinnati to Tampa had such a tantrum, Fox News first reported.
Videos taken by a friend of Fox producer Griffin Frank shows a little of the action. The journalist tweeted the footage the next day, starting with the flight attendant politely asking a woman in a window seat to put on a mask.
“Ma’am, you need to have a mask on,” says the airline employee, adding that one was provided on board. “Ma’am, I’m speaking to you, I’m speaking to you. You have to wear your mask the whole, entire flight. If you’re unable to do so, you’ll be removed from the flight.”
The woman remains silent until the flight attendant walks away and then yells after her: “Thanks, a---hole!”
The attendant then pivots angrily: “OK, you’re done. That’s it, let’s go. You’re getting off the aircraft. You are not going to speak to me like that. You need to comply. You agreed to this when you checked into our flight and bought your ticket.”

Flight attendants usually don't carry walkie- talkies. I'm guessing one of the gate crew.
I simply will not give my money to these nazi companies that demand complete complience.

Exactly. Live to fight another day..
Good point. I didn’t notice the walkie-talkie.
“Why inconvenience your 100+ fellow passengers to suit your personal political agenda?”
Because it pleases me.
Sounds like the woman might have been home free until she decided to open her mouth and swear at the flight attendant.
“If masks were effective, they would be banned as is hydroxychloroquine.”
HCQ is not banned.
Today, I went over to the Harley Davidson dealership in Columbus, Georgia to buy some Harley clothing Christmas presents. There was a sign on the front door stating that “THIS STORE DOES NOT ENFORCE FACE COVERING MANDATES. OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS CAN MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS.” I loved that notice.
Thanks for the links.
I’ve probably flown on 30 Delta flights this year. Passengers must agree to wear the mask during the check in process. Getting on board and refusing to wear it is a contract violation.
I read the links you sent with interest. When speaking of the Delta incidents, they’ve added passengers to Delta’s no-fly list, not the national list for terrorist threats. So that stupid lady can still fly, just not on Delta. I didn’t realize there were corporate no-fly lists.
BTW, I kinda like flying now. Plenty of room, no rubbing elbows, no center seats.
I don’t worry about it much, but I feel like my odds of catching something are greater at the grocery store than flying on Delta. And I’m an “at risk” person because I was born a long time ago.
I always pay attention to the flight attendants because the rules are for your own safety. Clear the aisles, check out the exits, etc. I’ve been on flights with an engine on fire, made emergency landings right after take-off, etc. I’ve never been in a crash, but those sorts of events do get your attention.
Before anyone gets exited and calls me names, I’m as nauseated by the lockdowns as any sane person would be. I hate the imposition on our freedom.
But I’m glad the airlines haven’t been grounded and I play by the rules so I can go.
Masks have never been about safety. They’ve always been (and will always be) about control.
They go hand-in-hand with the grossly inflated number of alleged “cases” and defective or otherwise tainted test kits.
Foxnews story says it is unknown what repurcussions she had.
From what I know, failure to obey flight crew instructions is a crime. Having to be escorted off the flight probably means a lifetime ban from Frontier.
Not the mask but the refusal.
It's a bit narcissistic, wouldn't you agree?
Remember what Rush said: “feminism was invented so ugly women could participate in society.”
She bought the ticket knowing damn well what the rule was. She sounds like an attention whoring imbecile
Not too bright, huh?
The new face of "conservatism".
I have flown a few times. Their attitude is horrible. The airlines should be kissing our backsides for being willing to fly and keep them going. The masks instruction loops are awful. Punishing people so severely over a mask is beyond any reason.
My thoughts exactly... 👍

Like being banned from Frontier is a bad thing?
