Attorney General William Barr Steps Down With Outstanding Record of Accomplishments
Heritage Foundation ^ | Dec 21st, 2020 | Hans A. von Spakovsky

Attorney General William Barr will leave office Wednesday the same way he came in—as a class act.

Barr offered a refreshing contrast to President Barack Obama’s former attorney general, Eric Holder, who characterized himself as Obama’s wingman.

Barr understands that his first loyalty is to the Constitution and the rule of law, not the president.

Attorney General William Barr will leave office Wednesday the same way he came in—as a class act. He carried out his role as the consummate professional who followed the law, administered justice, and forged ahead—despite relentlessly unfair and unjustified criticism leveled at him.

Barr offered a refreshing contrast to President Barack Obama’s former attorney general, Eric Holder, who characterized himself as Obama’s wingman. Barr understands that his first loyalty is to the Constitution and the rule of law, not the president. He knows that the attorney general must be an objective, apolitical enforcer of our nation’s laws.

Barr certainly cannot be characterized as the president’s wingman. Consider the anger expressed from the right over the fact that Barr kept the investigation of Joe Biden’s son Hunter secret until after the November election.

Barr has conducted himself as an ethical professional, adhering to the longstanding rules inside the Justice Department that require maintaining the confidentiality of criminal investigations to avoid damaging the lives and reputations of individuals over unproven claims and charges, as well as not harming the ability to conduct thorough criminal investigations.

Many conservatives criticized other actions taken by Barr, such as his support for FBI Director Christopher Wray and his statement that he had not seen evidence of widespread voter fraud sufficient enough to change the outcome of last month’s presidential election.

Let me get this straight. Barr, and Barr alone, could reveal the Biden corruption. That’s odd, because somehow word got out without Barr’s help. It is more than disurbing that so many on the right have a skewed notion of a faithful AG’s scope and purpose, as if they may hold him on a leash to sick prosecution on whomever they will. The remarks regarding Barr in this forum are, for the most part, juvenile.

I searched for all the wonderful things Barr did and foundL
“Similarly, many colleges and universities—particularly Ivy League schools—have been violating civil rights law for years with impunity by discriminating on the basis of race in their admissions practices. Prior administrations ignored this. But under Barr, the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division finally started investigating these violations of federal law, suing Yale University in October and conducting an investigation of Harvard University.”
‘Finely started but never finished’ should be written on his tombstone.

According to Barr, Antifa, BLM, corrupt elections are not the problem. The real problem is "White Supremacists". Oh, and to distract the folk from real issues, let's prosecute someone involved in the 32 year old Locarbie bombing. Too little, too late.

He protected the Deep State, ANTIFA and BLM, and the ongoing coup that is still going as of this date[12-22-20] including a stolen illegal election. And he did it well. In reality, he is a first class with no peer traitor and should be on one end of a short rope with one end attached to a tree limb and the other around his neck. True lovers of America spit on him.

So why did President Trump appoint this guy if he was so bad?

My number criticism of Trump is that he does a terrible job of hiring people to work for, and with, him.

Remember Scaramucci? Bolton?

Sheesh, this was the guy who was the host of The Apprentice.

Now we got Barr.

Who was, and still is, perfectly awful.

he had not seen evidence of widespread voter fraud sufficient enough to change the outcome of last month’s presidential election.

Very specific qualifiers in that sentence. There may be evidence to overturn the election, but he hasn't seen it. Election fraud may be widespread, but not enough (by how much a million votes, a hundred votes?) to look into, because, well, widespread election fraud is okay?

This fat slob is a disgrace AG's everywhere, right up there with holder. May as well be a soros plant.

Remember this the next time the Heritage Foundation solicits you for donations for “conservative causes”. They are as big a part of the swamp as the GOP establishment.

This is unbelievable coming from Heritic Foundation.

Sessions/Barrstool were really good on human trafficking. REALLY good.

But that is it. They aided and abetted:
*BLM
*fascist so-called antifa
*sanctuary cities
*voter suppression
*the “muh Russia” hoax
*the fraudulent 2020 election
*covering up Hunter Biteme
*being a smokescreen for the Chicoms

Any official can sit on some scandal and never reveal it with ulterior motive. People can game the procedure to serve their purpose. Following protocol does not mean they are men of integrity.

Checks and balance exists for a reason. Three branches of government check one another. Then there is a press and a whistle-blower.

Many scandals and crime won't see the light of the day if there is no whistle-blower.

People don't get "juvenile" unless they suspect somebody is a crook.
