An Alabama man and his son killed each other in a dispute over a dog, authorities said.
Washington County Sheriff Richard Stringer told WALA-TV that Kelvin James Coker, 60, discovered his dog had been shot on Saturday. The man then drove to the home of his 32-year-old son, Kelvin Nicholas Coker, who claimed to have killed the animal.
The older man shot first, shooting his son in the leg, and the younger man returned fire with a shotgun, Stringer said. Both men died from their wounds.
The sheriff called the family “very dysfunctional.”

Those are, quite obviously, the ‘before’ pictures...

Ya’all are funny.
But, this story is frigging sad.
Father/son shooting at each other ?

This was a series hand of poker. The steaks were high. Oh never mind the barbecue. The father raised his gun. The son used his shotgun and called. Both "men" folded permanently.

Darwin Award Family, they can split it.
The father doesn't qualify, as he already had offspring.

Wonder if the son use to chase the father around the house with a kitchen knife as the father was trying to leave the home? Happens sometimes especially when it’s girls. They then get law degrees and be become prosecutors. If you try to make public any of their inappropriate behavior the court will then cover for them.
Sound familiar Jamie?

I thought this kind of thing only happened in Alabama the week of the Iron Bowl.

I highly doubt it. Southwest AL along the Mississippi border is a hotbed of Bama fans. I was thinking they are among your 85%, only in the spirit of the Season, I was too polite to say so.
Until now.

I knew it was Bama people immediately. This is what they do.
This is who they are.
This is how they live.

This does NOT happen in Baldwin County Sir! We are much too refined for these sorts of actions. We’ll leave it to those rapscallions up in Montgomery County!!
