This is becoming a very uncomfortable pattern: "Rush is out today (with no explanation), but he's planning to be back tomorrow!"

Then he doesn't come back tomorrow....

I am now fearing the worst. Praying for a miracle for our dear Rush...

The promise at the end of last week was that he’d be back today. His not being back today really worries me about his health. Prayers up.

My DH had cancer last year and couldn’t work for 7 months. I think Rush has made a Herculean effort to continue working. He’s got to love America and his audience so much to keep doing the show since he’s been sick. I’m praying and hoping that this is just the result of side effects and he will feel better soon. God is in charge and He is watching over Rush, and all of us.

Each day, at the start of the show as Rush's theme music starts to play, my anxiety level goes way up. I'm hoping I'll hear his voice, but then my heart sinks as another guest host is introduced. I fear Rush will not be with us much longer.
