Today, America finds itself in a place not so different from what the thirteen colonies faced 246 years ago.
In 1776, 56 brave patriots signed their names at the bottom of the Declaration of Independence — a document that spelled out the specifics as to why the thirteen colonies were making a break with England and King George.
Signing that document was treason against the British, and every single man, some with names you know — Benjamin Franklin, Sam Adams, and of course John Hancock — and some you may not, such as Thomas McKean, Button Gwinnett, and Arthur Middleton, risked literal life, limb, and property by doing so. Had the British prevailed, they very well may have ended their days in front of a firing squad or at the end of a hangman's noose. Yet still they signed.
The interesting thing is, only about a quarter of the population actively supported the break with England at the time the Declaration was signed. Another quarter, largely those whose fortunes benefited greatly from the connection with England (which some of the signers did themselves), wanted to remain part of the Empire, while fully half the population were what we'd call today "undecided."
The reality is, leaders do what these men and others did: they led, they fought, and they went home and convinced their fellow citizens about the righteousness of their cause and inspired others to join the fight. In the end, they prevailed, and in doing so, they set forth a path that changed the course of human history, much for the better.

Empires tend to overextend and in the 18th century it was very difficult to exert control over a batch of self-sufficient colonies across the ocean.
Today the enemy is right here.
I would not say a significant number of the Americans were undecided. Not everyone could be an activist, as we call them now.
Back then, there was no such system wherein anyone could vote, and make up votes too.
Back then it was sometimes righteous to thrash a lawbreaker, and to shoot an invader.
The comparison is not unfair, then v now. Liberty and tyranny are both in human nature.
And we’d better be up to the task. Not everyone can fight, but everyone can resist, which entails sacrifice. Economic resistance is smart fighting. We are the producers of wealth and when the money runs out, they collapse. It’s that simple.
Shame on us for letting it come to this.
I’m not sure any past civil upheaval would have still occurred if they had our current societal conditions. We have amazing conditions like the poorest are the most likely to be obese and are the most passively entertained poor ever. As well as everyone being the least used to sustained physical labor than at any time in the past. It’s like some ridiculous sci-fi dystopia but it’s our reality.

While we’re at it, though I’d prefer it occurred on Jan 20, what say we declare a CAZ (Capital Autonomous Zone)?
Or if not there, declare a free state somewhere. Territory always helps, but it need not be huge. Media helps too; make our own media, and make demands.
The government fears self-sufficiency, chaos, and a loss of revenue. Work with that in mind.

I am not disagreeing with you but speak with reason not emotion. What are your specifics? Compare your specifics with the 24 Specifics from 1776. Though there are currently unconscionable events occurring as we speak, they pale in comparison to 1776. By the way speaking about now as compared to then is not considered treason and there is no fear of hanging. Else we would already be gone.

How many besides those so locked down they didn’t HAVE an income?
Not many. But that’s the quickest way out of the oblivion this republic faces. The most painless by far. 70 million refusals would end this predicament within the month. SCOTUS won’t, Congress won’t, they got theirs and they don’t care about you.
Nor can 70 million people be locked up. The government would surrender before there was time even to write the threatening letters. Who’s going to do it if there’s no money to pay their salaries?
However, 70 million are likely too inert for that, and/or too fearful.
If you have to stay legal, whittle down the taxable income and the resources. Yes, that will be very inconvenient. But if enough people do that, the threat of economic collapse will still suffice, government will back down.
Government fears loss of revenue most of all. Bullets they have. Money they have not. Without us they don’t even have credit, never mind bleeping money.
A camera on every corner and on every other house? Listening devices in bedrooms, cars, boardrooms, classrooms, etc.? Keyloggers? Eyes in the sky?

There maybe a few patriots out there willing to take the risk of saying give me liberty or give me death, but if what came out of the Supreme Court that Roberts sold out the republic is true then the only option left is a brutal and nasty civil war of hit and run and punishing the traitors.
Why, oh, Why can these events not be scheduled on a Saturday or Sunday. January 6 is middle of the week. Most of us work for a living and CANNOT take the day off.
I am furious. Just like over here in Los Angeles, they are always running protests at the Federal Building in West L.A. and on a weekday.
