Do We Have What They Had in 1776?

Today, America finds itself in a place not so different from what the thirteen colonies faced 246 years ago.

In 1776, 56 brave patriots signed their names at the bottom of the Declaration of Independence — a document that spelled out the specifics as to why the thirteen colonies were making a break with England and King George.

Signing that document was treason against the British, and every single man, some with names you know — Benjamin Franklin, Sam Adams, and of course John Hancock — and some you may not, such as Thomas McKean, Button Gwinnett, and Arthur Middleton, risked literal life, limb, and property by doing so. Had the British prevailed, they very well may have ended their days in front of a firing squad or at the end of a hangman's noose. Yet still they signed.

The interesting thing is, only about a quarter of the population actively supported the break with England at the time the Declaration was signed. Another quarter, largely those whose fortunes benefited greatly from the connection with England (which some of the signers did themselves), wanted to remain part of the Empire, while fully half the population were what we'd call today "undecided."

The reality is, leaders do what these men and others did: they led, they fought, and they went home and convinced their fellow citizens about the righteousness of their cause and inspired others to join the fight. In the end, they prevailed, and in doing so, they set forth a path that changed the course of human history, much for the better.

Stop the Steal protest in D.C.

On 6 January, 2020.

This can make a difference, when millions of patriots show up to support President Trump and protest the stolen election.

This can be done. We need to organize all the buses we can for patriots to come to this Stop the Steal protest.

We need parking lots and busses (Probably farmers fields) to ferry millions into D.C. proper for January 6th.

The City will be effectively shut down.

The Metro will be packed with Trump supporters.

All available porta-potties need to be corralled, now!

This is a massive job of coordination.

Local Republican parties and Tea Parties should be all in.

All available space must be made available for patriot shelter for a two days before, and a day after January 6th.

All must get started now!

Organize car pools to travel from your state, if you cannot get a bus or a plane.

There won't be any machine-gunning of patriots in the streets.

President Trump will still be commander in chief.

The D.C. and Capitol Police will be pretty much a non-entity compared to millions of unarmed patriots.

Senators may do their duty, with millions of patriots chanting "Stop the Steal" outside the Capitol.

One of those companies, Florida-based Smartmatic, responded to his comments and those of others with demands for retractions from Fox News, Newsmax, and OAN...

Dobbs started the segment by saying, “There are lots of opinions about the integrity of the election, the irregularities of mail-in voting, of election voting machines and voting software. One of the companies is Smartmatic, and we reached out to one of the leading authorities on open source software for elections, Eddie Perez, for his insight and views.”...
He (Perez) also made it clear that Smartmatic and Dominion are completely separate companies, and even more tellingly, he pushed back on the idea that there is a direct connection between Smartmatic and George Soros...

As soon as the segment ended, the show went to break — sans commentary from Dobbs.
UPDATE — Mediaite has learned that the same fact check will be airing on Jeanine Pirro’s show Saturday night and Maria Bartiromo’s Fox News show on Sunday.

Your link doesnt work, but I have the same answer, albeit considering different times.

We have a much more complex social/political structure now than then, a fantastically larger population and technological advances both we and the enemy have at our disposal, the question is unfair.

America's problem today is the lack of a historical identity that we should and could have had if government indoctrination centers hadn't screwed with the brains of at least four generations.

Tara Ross is a respected historian that teaches anyone who asks, one page history lessons we were never taught, especially about "little" people or little known facts of big ones.

OUR advantage is instantaneous information that, if we can discern the truth from the misdirection, we can maturely use it to direct our collective paths.


A little off the subject, but I can surely connect these dots;

I've been in Jim's living room since 1998 and I can remember perhaps 40 or 50 ALWAYS THERE FReepers whenever I opened my computer.

Today, I see maybe 10 or 12 oldies, 10 or 12 newbies and we don't engage in flame wars any more.

Even OUR FR says are different now than 20 years ago.

1776 ?

Americans had everything ... and I mean everything to lose back then if they didn't fight.

I don't think we will ever LLOSEEVERYTHING, even if kamel toes becomes President and the squad BECOMES Congress.

We in modern America just don't believe we will lose everything ... and because of that ... THEY have surgically removed the will to kill from our understanding of being a Patriot.

Also, what is sorely missing is political and elite leadership. In 1776, the signers where from the ruling class, very few this time.

Nonsense.

The colonists were just a mere rabble compared to the British. Even Washington was shocked and surprised at the simple fact that we began to win.

At the bottom line though, the fight is not man against government, but the individual against collectivism.

For those who wondered when the next great war would come, wonder no more...it is here.

Washington’s men’s feet were known to be wrapped in rags at the time of Valley Forge. We have many now whose bodies are busted up or FUBAR but carry on. We also know our 2A all of them fought and died for.

Important questions fall on us to answer when talk accomplishes nothing.

Worse than 1776. The King was the legitimate ruler then but was acting in ways we did not think right or fair. The Democrats and the deepstate propose now to install a PRETENDER as CIC and as executive.

Excellent with one exception. The Patriots must be armed, in accordance with their 2nd Amendment rights. Do not allow peaceful citizens to be terrorized by the back-jumping BLM thugs while returning to their cars and hotels, while dirty DC cops do nothing to protect them. Occupy the People’s Court and the People’s Congress.
