I have a question about Orville and Wilbur's flight at Kitty Hawk?

Did they serve peanuts and an 1/8 of a cup of ginger ale, like all other flights?

Considering they were only in the air for 12 seconds, I doubt it.

One peanut only, and you couldn’t keep the can of ginger ale

That would not surprise me if he made that claim.

After being forced to mothball all of their newest planes 2 years ago, followed by 10 months of CCP virus, give the peanuts and ginger ale back to the flight crew. You’re snacking from their next meal.

The Wright brothers had help from aliens (under early DACA.)

They did get groped by TSA before every flight.

If you have ever been to Kitty Hawk, and looked at the little shack that the Wright brothers lived in, tar paper and all... then... you turn to face the wind which is almost ever present and you realize that no matter what the Wright brothers ate at Kitty Hawk it probably had sand in it.

This is a good time to remind all that the NC license plates with “First in Flight” are wrong and should be changed. The Wright Brothers were from Ohio. They went to NC (out of many choices) because it was windy.

I find it humorous that you made that observation, I have been a longtime fan of what they accomplished and have read everything I could find, and...I came to that same conclusion once upon a time!

Because I hate grit in ANY food...

Perhaps you should ask Gustave Whitehead who flew the first powered aircraft in 1901 — this was in Connecticut.

Of course Otto Lilienthal was flying gliders a number of years earlier.

Both Gustave and Otto served peanuts.

The Wright brothers’ first flight was recorded as being 120’ in length. There is a legend, and I’m not sure if, or how much truth there is to it, that when designing the C-5 Galaxy in the 1960s, Lockheed engineers deliberately made the cargo bay 121’ both as both a tribute to the Wright brothers and as a statement to how far aviation had advanced at that point.

No one fought over the window seat.

At least they didn’t have mean, dour looking, rude and ugly stewardesses.
