Another way to get around the law, other than farming out to five eye, would be to assign somebody 'on loan' to the FBI.

During the Obama fiasco of an administration, it occurs to me that there was no 'Jamie Gorelick wall' between our foreign and domestic intel units (thanks derp Bush). They were one and the same and worked together.

Recall the 'FBI' agent that was assigned to the Vatican (I think) that went up to London as part of the Crossfire Hurricane INTERNATIONAL coup against Trump. I forget the name, but that's an example.

If FBI is domestic, wtf are they doing being ASSIGNED overseas. Just curious.,p> So, yea. The CIA proper may not have spied on Trump, but they sure as hell were involved. Starting with the CIA chief himself, Mugsy Brennan.

What's Barr got to say about THAT?

(took me awhile to figure out what I thought about this. Still open to suggestions).

p.s. Remember when we thought taking down the 'Gorelick wall' was a good thing cause of 9-11? Boy, those derps fooled us good, right?

Re today's appointments to the President’s Advisory 1776 Commission:

Politico hates it, which is an excellent sign. HEre's their title for today's article: Trump appoints 1776 Commission members in last-minute bid to advance 'patriotic education'

Note they treat 'patriotic education' like it's an epithet

Not recommending the article but here's how the left is framing it:

Here's FR's thread about the commission:

Executive Order on Establishing the President’s Advisory 1776 Commission

FBI is not limited to USA—USA sends them all over the world for various investigations.

Desk-bound agents are all in the SES at that level.
They can apply for open positions throughout government.
They just work out a phoney resignation for the lateral move and “bingo”, they are a dual-purpose desk jockey.

I’ve seen such things. Once you attain a certain level, you get a job that doesn’t require extended travel or closer to your homestead.
But, mostly it’s to pad their pension.
AT their level, no one can stop them.
