Florida man dies after window closes on him in the home he was burglarizing

A man died over the weekend after a window closed on him while attempting to burglarize a Florida home.
Jonathan Hernandez, 32, died Saturday while breaking into a Lehigh Acres home by climbing through the window, which slammed on him, according to a report by WBBH, an NBC affiliated station serving the Jacksonville.
Hernandez was dead by the time deputies arrived.
Hernandez’s family members were surprised by the news of his death saying that they had never known him to act in this manner.
Family and friends are hoping an investigation will get them answers to Hernandez’s strange behavior.

In Florida before the 60s a lot of old Cracker houses had Sash weighted windows. If sash rope broke the “Redneck Fix” was a Prop/stick to hold window up.
He may have come upon this set-up and knocked the prop out?
