Sidney Powell Reveals She's Been Building a Massive RICO Case Against Dominion, Smartmatic
The Western Journal ^ | 13 Dec, 2020 | Jack Davis

Attorney Sidney Powell says that her battle over the Nov. 3 election is far from over, saying that the evidence she is gathering could turn into a major racketeering case under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

Powell appeared Thursday on Lou Dobbs’ Fox Business News program and explained what she has found.

Four names, she said, were central to her investigation: Jorge Rodriguez, a former minister for communications for Venezuela; Khalil Majid Mazzoub, whom Powell identified as a link to the U.S.-designated terrorist group Hezbollah; Gustavo Reyes-Zumeta, a computer programmer; and Antonio Mugica, CEO of the elections technology company Smartmatic, which has been linked in some accounts to Dominion Voting Systems.

How can she do this? She is a great lawyer but not a prosecutor. Is there another mechanism involved here?

Just so it’s clear, a private lawyer cannot bring a RICO case against anyone. She can present her evidence to an atty gen, but charges must come from the govt.

Not necessarily. I don’t know all the legal mechanisms, but it apparently can be done.

Given the yellow-striped black robes, the lefty-tilt of the prosecutors, and light-weight of the FBI, this seems like a modern day joust with windmills.

Agree.

(c) Any person injured in his business or property by reason of a violation of section 1962 of this chapter may sue therefor in any appropriate United States district court and shall recover threefold the damages he sustains and the cost of the suit, including a reasonable attorney’s fee, except that no person may rely upon any conduct that would have been actionable as fraud in the purchase or sale of securities to establish a violation of section 1962. The exception contained in the preceding sentence does not apply to an action against any person that is criminally convicted in connection with the fraud, in which case the statute of limitations shall start to run on the date on which the conviction becomes final.

I would put down five states on the list as well...telling them the easy path judgement is $500-million....but you are going for a billion dollars each.

Then I’d take all the cash (probably toward 3 to 5 billion) for the 2024 election. I’d gear everything toward Harris and her incompetence.

Reminds me of Maggie teacher-appearance anyway. We can only hope it’s more ways than one.

Sidney Powell is doing a great work but it will be for the benefit of posterity and historians when people may wish to learn and understand just what happened in 2020. However indictments and prosecutions under RICO and for that matter any law depends on the Department of Justice, state Attorney Generals , county and local prosecutors. As well noted these people selectively investigate and frequently choose not to prosecute. IMHO the executives at Dominion, the Democrat operatives that executed the fraud in Atlanta,Milwaukee, Detroit, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Philidelphia as well as the people who paid them really need not fear any prosecution or being held accountable for their crimes.

She’d have to prove personal harm. That would be extremely tough given the TX non-ruling. What citizen is she a state of? If not GA, MI, WI, or PA, would be tough to show actual damages. Even then, the damages are to your “civil rights” in one man, one vote. This is a very tough case to make in general, let alone in RICO.

Or the GA AG. Or the MI Ag. Or the PA AG. Or the WI AG. Or the NV AG.

The only places she can find a state ag who might support is in a state that didn’t have rampant fraud.

I was commissioned as an officer in the army.
At any time the Army may reinstate my rank and have me do its bidding. That’s what I agreed to.

She is an officer of the court. All of the work that she is doing can be immediately acted upon because it is assumed as an officer of the court she did it by the book.

She doesn’t lie. The mechanism is less important.
