CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Krispy Kreme is giving doughnut-lovers a reason to celebrate on Saturday.
The chain is bringing back its annual "Day of the Dozens" promotion on Saturday, Dec. 12. That means with the purchase of any dozen doughnuts at regular price, customers will also get a dozen of the chain's original glazed doughnuts for $1.

I once got five dozen Krispy Kreme donuts for free. The Kansas City Royals had a promotion with Krispy Kreme who would give a dozen donuts to ticketholders if the Royals got a dozen hits in a game. They did the night that I bought five tickets for the family.
Who's hungry?
“Shrinkage!”
.
It affects Us All.
That’s remarkable. It reminds us of what most people can do if they accept the situation and prepare for it.
I was reading a bio about an American politician in the 1880’s. Back then, it was not that unusual to walk hundreds of miles in a few days just to pay someone a visit.
I know of two guys like that right now, who could walk scores of miles and not be like a busted up Teddy Bear upon their return. They just do it, and at their own pace.
100’s of miles,,,
Ouch!
I need a Marlboro.
The one part of your body that is really adversely affected by this is your butt.
The very first year I did the ride it was on a gel saddle. When I got in the saddle the morning of the second day, this describes what it feels like:
Imagine you remove the seat from the seat post and replace it with a short length of 2x4. Mount the 2x4 with one end sticking straight up situated with the 4” width perpendicular to the bike. Now sit on the seat with each butt bone riding on one of those two corners/edges.
That is EXACTLY what it felt like.
The good news is that that feeling goes away after about ten miles. :)
Nothing special about those donuts.
I agree, but hey, a dozen for a dollar?
Those doughnuts are way to sweet for me nauseatingly sweet!!!
I must admit I occasionally indulge in “little chocolate donuts”
Why can’t I find a decent Onion Bagel?
I just want a toasted onion bagel and a smear of cream cheese...
Dozen KK donuts...$1
UberEats delivery...$15
Everyone tells me all those delivery services are free.
Dunno I never used them, but they are gonna make you pay some how or they would be out if business.
Still, sometimes company’s use loss leaders to get you in the shop and I thought this was a pretty good promo.
Easy. Go back to when they used to be a nickel! A nickel!
Buy a dozen of our high priced, donuts and we’ll throw in a dozen of our bottom of the barrel for a dollar..
When I was a kid I used to make cake donuts with my great grandma, sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon, and my reward was all the donut holes I wanted.
Now they sell them...
After years, I just went on a no carb diet. It is amazing how quickly I started losing weight and feeling a lot better. Early hunger pains, but sort of good feeling pains. It meant having a roast beef sandwich replacing bread with cabbage leaves, etc. Went off it recently to add back some carbs because I am doing a lot of physical labor and need the energy. But am now convinced that our national low-fat diet fad has been an exercise in suicide.
