Unfortunately, I agree. It will be a close vote, at least partially to placate the losing side.
I suspect the unrecorded argument, not included in the judgement will be something like:
Texas is correct but if we disallow the results in these States, there will be indiscriminate shootings, bombings and killings by the Left, that will tear the country apart. If we let these elections stand, yes, we’ve condoned fraud, and conservatives will be angry, but they do not riot insanely, like the Left. It is safer for the country if the crazies win, they’ll be placate.
In other words, kick the can down the road.

It’s almost like Texas has read and analyzed and understood the laws of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia more thoroughly than the elected officials did in those states. That will come back to bite the defendants.

You make good points... I’d say they are equally important, though, because if Biden is allowed to carry this win, they will ensure that election fraud is baked into every election in every state every year until conservatism (and America) is obliterated.
I think that your predictions about the rights response would be correct under normal conditions, however I believe that we are now beyond that. lots of rumblings about CW2 if this goes the wrong way, or either way for that matter.

A war on China may be in our future but I am not confident it is necessarily the first battle. Avoiding a full-blown three-branch leftist government with a packed USSC would seem a more immediate target.
Trump may also need the time to take such action as assures him our military understands and agrees he is its Commander-in Chief.
Regardless of outcome, this action by Texas more or less organizes things for potential secession. I have pondered how such could be organized and executed and it becomes clear that the 9th and 10th Amendments are the keys to a peaceful separation. Were the USSC overturn key cases such as Roe v Wade, Oberefell v. Hodges and the plethora of civil rights case decided (inappropriately) by the 14th Amendment and leave the issues represented by those cases to the legislature and courts of the individual states, the onerous hand of the federal government would be removed from red state populations and self-imposed migration would likely occur.
But, I thought rights should NOT be decided by a political process...
Is there not a right to free and fair elections in this Republic...?

No, I don't think so.
If you ever come up with anything intelligent to say I may pay attention to it. Not something I expect to happen but there is always a possibility.
But it's hard to have much hope, because it appears that the majority of pur government is compromised and terrified of the DS/Communists, (or whoever else the DS is working with to destroy the USA).
