Texas has filed its reply with #SCOTUS. Now we wait to see what the Justices will do with this multi-state election challenge.

How long do we wait?

Just a tad over four years if the democrats have their way.

Sure. Texas wrote “We support the suit we filed. We do not contest the suit we filed.”

Agree...Most of my thoughts are centered on Kavanaugh; I see him as the most vulnerable to never-Trump influence. Roberts is beyond thinking about...

Impeachment requires a supermajority in the Senate, which the Demonrats won’t have even if they gain the two Georgia seats.

The remedy that Texas asks for is one that should be executed but they doubt there is support to not seat the electors from the insurrectionist states and I think they are correct.

The support will be there once it's explained that it is incumbent upon the population to elect Secretaries of State who can conduct elections like adults and without election law violations. If they can't, they lose representation in selecting the President and VP. They have 4 years to fix it and try again. Their Electoral votes should be removed from consideration by the Electoral College.

“The Supreme Chickens do not want to get involved.”

It will probably thrown back to the state legislatures with a sternly worded statement about the sanctity of the election process and changes need to be made.

And that will be it. Then again, there are five justices who are probably going to vote for Texas, with Roberts doing his dance.

Hope you are correct. If this coup election is not overturned, then it is time to decide if we are to become serfs until we are marginalized and eliminated or the shooting needs to start.

To save the NATION, SCOTUS should take the case and RULE at the same time that FRAUD DID OCCUR!

Remedy to be a new election with photo ID, signature verification, no mass mail in ballots, no voting machines, paper ballots ONLY. All examination, counting and tabulating to be videotaped. Only ballots with UNBROKEN chain of custody to be counted.
____________________

Absolutely. Give a 10 day special registration period. Only new registrations count. If you can’t get out to register too bad.

Open polls for 48 straight hours. In-person voting only. Have polling stations manned by the Military, not party flunkies. No absentee, no early voting, no mail-in ballots.

Collect ballot boxes every 8 hours. (No We’re waiting on Detroit to report)

Do like Iraq and dip voters fingers in fluorescent ink that takes days wear off.

Have all votes counted 12 hours after the closing of polls.

We better be careful so not to be condemned as defeatist as if I care.

Yeah, we are in some form of agreement but my crystal ball is not clear at all so we will have to wait and see.

I am considering this though from my un-scholarly and untrained understanding of the Constitution on the matter and how I would have to rule given that position.

I would hope the sheeple would be made to learn lessons about responsibility in voting, selection of their AG, loss of their rights and voice accordingly and such but I have no such faith in the sheeple. Heck, I doubt that there will be lessons learned that even preserve our rights and voice. The sheeple have no memory and the gooberment has no heart or care so long as politicians have power.

The Roberts court moves the ball in millimeters. If the case may move the ball ten yards, they will punt back to the lower courts or pass on the opportunity.

The TX proposal is a big move.

After Gorsuch threw the turd in the punch bowl over the McGirt v. Oklahoma case I have no faith in him exercising anything like good sense either.

Gorsuch wrote:

“Under our Constitution, States have no authority to reduce federal reservations lying within their borders. Just imagine if they did. A State could encroach on the tribal boundaries or legal rights Congress provided, and, with enough time and patience, nullify the promises made in the name of the United States.”

There are no such boundaries for reservations of the Five Civilized Tribes in Oklahoma any longer. The Dawes Act did away with that. Something about establishing the State of Oklahoma also had an hand in eliminating the tribal lands. To rule as the majority in the court did is to ignore all the other related history and law.

A civil war is a “purely political process”. So is a coup d’etat, or for that matter a foreign infiltration into the government is also a “purely political process”.

I would hope the Court can get past such simplistic considerations and take care to ensure that the system created, including the Court itself, is not obliterated by these purely political processes.

It is a big move, no doubt, but in reading the Texas’ reply... wow: it’s pretty damning and argues well for serious action.

What everyone needs to remember is that, of the two issues, the Georgia runoff is actually more important than Trump emerging victorious over the Biden steal.

I disagree. If you don't stop the steal now, the republican party is finished, even if the Georgia runoff is successful. Trump is the only one that will attempt to clean up the corruption. Biden has all the power to stop the cleanup. Two Georgia RINO senators in a senate full of RINOS will get nothing done.

Texas is correct but if we disallow the results in these States, there will be indiscriminate shootings, bombings and killings by the Left, that will tear the country apart. If we let these elections stand, yes, we’ve condoned fraud, and conservatives will be angry, but they do not riot insanely, like the Left. It is safer for the country if the crazies win, they’ll be placate.

I think you are completely wrong about this. I don't think you know how really angry the Trumpsters (and Texas) are right now.
