I think this thing with Hunter is just Harris/Obama’s way to remind Biden that they have a deal: he has to step down after the inauguration or his surviving son goes to prison for the rest of his life. If Biden complies, then the investigation goes away and all is well.
I think they will let him be inaugurated. Taking him out before then leaves too much uncertainty, if not in the law then in the minds of the people.
In 1980, the Dems said Ronald Reagan, at 70 years old, was too old to be President and were betting he would die before finishing his first term.

What is to prevent Biden from issuing Hunter a pardon on the afternoon of Jan. 20, 2021 (assuming the election theft goes through)? Then when Kamala pushes Joe out the door, he will be left alone—no point in prosecuting a senile old man, and besides the DOJ will be headed by lefties.
