If the letters were mailed, then there might be fingerprints on the envelope, the notes, and DNA on the stamps, envelope seal if licked, etc.
Might be worth getting it tested and if found, announce that the psycho’s DNA is now in the hands of the police and local residents who will try to match it to suspects in the community. The same for an attempt to match the handwriting with other letters/notes etc people in the neighborhood have from others there.
Worth the initial effort to scare the crap out of them.
I rarely drive at night so I don't see the festive lights. Monday I happened to come home late and saw the lights. It was uplifting, fun.....and political! Some houses were decorated with only BLUE lights.
I really couldn’t care less about Christmas, but checking out the neighborhood lights doesn’t ‘trigger’ me...a novelty to admire.

This insane author also must believe her own words expose a value system she believes is in excess of her neighbors and thus would be best left unsaid. She is obviously a morally superior being.
Buying up all those cheap China lights. LOL. Try to find Christmas lights made in the USA.
Years and years ago (20?) I vowed to not buy anything from China for Christmas. I was able to find a few things, but it was pretty much impossible when shopping for my 3 to 5 year old kids!

I hope that you noticed that my display has a lot of white twinkling lights, but no black lights. Why? They really don’t matter all that much.

Went to grocery store 2 days ago, this young man was in a sweater, covered in garland and lights. Stores are packed, long lines, out of products.
Got told my Trump stuff has to come down. Don’t think so. Just put some garland on the signs.Put up the Cross.

I can say that our neighborhood and surrounding areas are definitely increasing the amount of decorations. I think a lot of folks (including us) are trying to make home as “homey” and “old fashioned” as possible. I mean that there is a lot of baking of yums, using fresh greens, lots of lights, and recipe requests for all sorts of adult Winter cocktails.
