"Should Trump declare martial law? No, he should declare independence from the globalist, chi-com traitors! He should declare 1776!" - Alex Jones

More examples of Alex Jones’ role in undermining the conservative Right.
Recall what I said earlier, how a significant portion of the population will believe that if claims A, B, and C, are ridiculous BS, and someone claiming A, B, C, also claims D to be true, D is probably also untrue, or at least suspect.
In the example below, claim D is the one that is highly likely legit (part of it at least. ie, not so likely the ‘inside-terror attacks’ stuff, although, if anyone, it might apply to Russia).
However, since it is being claimed by the same (purposely obvious) ‘nut’ who also claims A, B and C to be true, it therefore (according to many if not most) is also BS or at least suspect of being BS.
Below, from a no-doubt lefty author over at Wikipedia...
(A)”Jones promoted conspiracy theories about the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting.[26]
(B & C) He has also accused the US government[27] of planning the Oklahoma City bombing,[28] the September 11 attacks,[29] and falsifying details regarding the 1969 Moon landing.[30]
(D) He has claimed that several governments and big businesses have colluded to create a “New World Order” through “manufactured economic crises, sophisticated surveillance tech and—above all—inside-job terror attacks that fuel exploitable hysteria”.[31]”

YES
Would the military obey? I don’t believe so. Things are far gone in this country.
Depends on the behavior of the courts.
But maybe just plain ‘Yes.’
There are so many traitors who need to arrested, tried in a summary court martial, then hanged or shot.
“The President can’t do away with or shutdown those institutions. There’s no law that could give that authority as it would not be superior to the US Constitution.”
In the meantime, the seditious courts are ruling that people have no standing to challenge election fraud.
Now, do go ahead and tell everyone what the solution is to courts telling people they have no standing to litigate a fraudulent election in a court.
I seriously doubt martial law would work unless it was restricted to a couple of major metro areas, even then, it would take an extraordinary amount of forces to make it effective.
However, declaring martial law in areas surrounding large metro areas, blocking access to and from, closing off transport, freight etc... might prove workable.
“The US Marines...not covered by the Posse Comitatus Act and are providing security for the Trump Presidency from Camp Lejeune and elsewhere.”
DoD looks like its on the hook, as amended. But since the time that ammendment was introduced... read on...
[Wiki] [quote]The Act specifically applies only to the United States Army and, as amended in 1956, the United States Air Force. Although the Act does not explicitly mention the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps, the Department of the Navy has prescribed regulations that are generally construed to give the Act force with respect to those services as well. The Act does not prevent the Army National Guard or the Air National Guard under state authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within its home state or in an adjacent state if invited by that state’s governor. The United States Coast Guard (under the Department of Homeland Security) and United States Space Force (under the Department of the Air Force) are not covered by the Act either, primarily because although both are armed services, they also have maritime and space law enforcement missions respectively.
The title of the Act comes from the legal concept of posse comitatus, the authority under which a county sheriff, or other law officer, can conscript any able-bodied person to assist in keeping the peace.[unquote]
If the Supremes fall down Trump needs to invoke the insurrection act.
No its not pretty but up next to the green initiative global reset it looks gentle.
That's why you have lawyers whose practice area is constitutional law and election law spearheading the effort.
In several cases, the presiding judge told Plaintiffs what they needed to do (go to State Court) or told them that the Legislature needed to address the issues. In some cases, Plaintiffs were told they should have filed suite as soon as possible after the election.
On a somewhat related issue, the PR battle (and yes, there is one) has been struggling. There was a reason why the Trump legal team put out a statement that Sidney Powell was not part of the Trump legal team, and also why Governor Christie called out the litigation efforts on one of the Sunday morning news shows - and President Trump did not tweet or otherwise communicate his disagreement with what Christie said. No military biography was circulated for Philip Waldron, yet he was touting his bona fides regarding detecting election fraud. There needs to be more than himself or Mayor Giuliani calling Waldron an expert.
Thankfully, we don't live in such a country.
To paraphrase my dear mother, if the Democrats jumped off the roof should we jump too?
What would be the point?
There are calls by some or the Insurrection Act and/or marital law be used to "redo" the election in some states. Sorry, but the 20th Amendment is superior to a redo even if everyone agreed to a redo.
The fact that Trump is not an idiot and that he loves and respects the Constitution tells me that martial law is off the table.
I am just shocked about the number of FReepers (not the Freezer you responded to) who are openly advocating for tyranny.
If EO 13848 has the teeth that it appears to have, Law Enforcement and Military are NOT off the table. In fact, it’s almost a certainty.
If EO 13848 gets the nothingburger than we go to Plan Z as the only viable option to save the country.
Don't you need an insurrection first?
And? What do you think will happen? If you feel confident enough to provide details, please do so.
I pretty much think we’re there Dawg.
