I seriously doubt martial law would work unless it was restricted to a couple of major metro areas, even then, it would take an extraordinary amount of forces to make it effective.

What would be the point?

There are calls by some or the Insurrection Act and/or marital law be used to "redo" the election in some states. Sorry, but the 20th Amendment is superior to a redo even if everyone agreed to a redo.

From what I’ve observed Martial law is reserved for buttoning down a city after a F5 hurricane passes through and other similar scenarios.
