Al Davis was a huge Army football fan when he was a kid growing up in New York. That is why the Raiders wear black.

Army chooses, over the continuous objection of alumni, to deck their players in gear from the America-hating Nike company.

So Navy has the far better uniform.

With my service history, I have to side with Army for the game, but that Navy uniform is pretty darn sharp. The Army kind of lost the plot with their uniforms in general back in the 60s or 70s with the green bus-driver class-A’s and it seems that lack of creativity has bled over into other areas.

I didn't realize that there was official "Airhead Thread" for the FreeRepublic.

We have the country on lockdown for the Chinese plague, we have our president being overthrown by the Deep State fraud system and we have primitives around the world steadily working towards nuclear weapons to use against us - and you care about what the boys are wearing for some idiot sport?

What's next? Best apron to wear while cooking?

"The Army kind of lost the plot with their uniforms in general back in the 60s or 70s with the green bus-driver class-A’s..."

I hated the Class A uniform. Thankfully, the Army is going back to a new retro-version of the WWII era Pink and Greens...
