Oscar-nominated star Ellen Page has come out as a transgender male named Elliot.
The 33-year-old actor took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to share an emotional statement with the revelation.
It began: 'Hi friends, I want to share with you that I am trans, My pronouns are he/they and my name is Elliot.
'I feel lucky to be writing this. To have arrived at this place in my life.'

So actor Ellen Page came out as a dude now I’m dead curious what happens for his acting roles now? Will he continue to play a girl in his current gigs and will future girls stereotype him and make him still play a girl considering biologically he is one or what?

She says she is a transgender male, so she is saying she’s going to live as a fake male.
