Researchers Solve Anti-aging Mystery – Identify Gene Responsible for Cellular Aging
Science Tech Daily ^ | NOVEMBER 30, 2020 | By ALPHAMED PRESS

Cellular reprogramming can reverse the aging that leads to a decline in the activities and functions of mesenchymal stem/stromal cells (MSCs). This is something that scientists have known for a while. But what they had not figured out is which molecular mechanisms are responsible for this reversal. A study released today in STEM CELLS appears to have solved this mystery. It not only enhances the knowledge of MSC aging and associated diseases, but also provides insight into developing pharmacological strategies to reduce or reverse the aging process.

The research team, made up of scientists at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, relied on cellular reprogramming — a commonly used approach to reverse cell aging — to establish a genetically identical young and old cell model for this study. “While agreeing with previous findings in MSC rejuvenation by cellular reprogramming, our study goes further to provide insight into how reprogrammed MSCs are regulated molecularly to ameliorate the cellular hallmarks of aging,” explained lead investigator, Wan-Ju Li, Ph.D., a faculty member in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation and the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

Me neither. But I couldn’t afford it if it works. I’ll have to muddle through the way God made me!

I tried asking zoltar to make me young again.

He took my dollar and gave me a card that said that the blessings of life and wealth have a beginning and must have an end.

WTH Zoltar???!!!

The Fountain of Youth is a combination of tacos, burritos, and hot salsa.

Try that daily for one year.

After that, please post your success story, along with impressive before and after pictures.

I think that the real utility of this is not making one younger but in repairing the damage that has been done by the years. If this could be made to work reliably perhaps a concoction could be infused into a worn out knee or hip to rejuvenate the original cartilage and obviate the need for artificial joints. Plus it could grow new hair and make a man’s penis bigger. YIPPEE!

Damn, I knew I would reduce this from something cerebral to something carnal...

Long Live Walter Jameson - Twilight Zone

Plot

Walter Jameson, a college professor, is engaged to a young doctoral student named Susanna Kittridge. Susanna’s father, Sam Kittridge, another professor at Jameson’s college, becomes suspicious of Jameson because he does not appear to have aged in the twelve years they have known each other and seems to have unrealistically detailed knowledge of some pieces of history that do not appear in texts.

Jameson at one point reads from an original Civil War diary in his possession. Later, Kittridge recognizes Jameson in a Mathew Brady Civil War photograph. After he presents these pieces of evidence,

Jameson ultimately reveals his real life history. Agelessness (but no immunity to injury) was imparted to him by an alchemist more than 2,000 years ago.

Jameson does not know what was done to him, only that the alchemist was gone when he recovered, and he then stopped aging. Soon, he had to become a constant refugee.

He tells Kittridge that he learned a terrible lesson from living for so long and longs for death. He keeps a revolver in his desk drawer, but does not have the courage to use it. ...”

Sauropod! You obviously know a great deal about slowing down or stopping the aging process!

Please tell us how you did it!!!!!

Maybe stopping the aging process IS the cure to all other diseases...
But don’t buy any futures in the product...

I’m in the 20s and would like to stay in the shape I’m in, but by the time they perfect this thing I’ll be a senior citizen hand-pollinating trees in China.
