First lady Melania Trump has decked the halls for the holiday season.
Trump unveiled the theme of this year’s White House Christmas decorations: “America the Beautiful,” chosen to honor “the majesty of our great Nation.”
“Over the past four years I have had the honor to travel to some of our nation’s most beautiful landmarks and meet some of the most compassionate and patriotic American citizens. From coast to coast, the bond that all Americans share is an appreciation for our traditions, values, and history, which were the inspiration behind the decorations this year,” the first lady said in a statement Monday, going on to thank the staff and volunteers who made everything come together.
On this year’s official Christmas tree, placed in the Blue Room, were ornaments designed by students nationwide. The ornaments were commissioned by the National Park Service, which called on kids to highlight the people, places and things that made their states beautiful.
In total, 62 trees were installed for the holiday spectacle across the White House grounds, along with 106 Christmas wreaths, over 1,200 feet of garland, more than 3,200 strands of lights and 17,000 bows.
While the entire holiday season will look a bit different amid the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s White House Christmas decorations still included the famous annual gingerbread house.
The first lady’s office said Monday it took over 400 pounds of dough, chocolate and icing to complete the project.

I shed tears as I saw these beautiful decorations which have been chosen by our beautiful, kind and graceful First Lady. I pray that somewhere out there in the future God will bless her and her family for what they have endured at the hands of the cruel in our nation, the likes of which we have not seen before. I do not believe that the wrong which has been heaped upon the Trump family with the goal of ruining their lives will be looked upon kindly by the Creator of this Universe. And, what was their sin? Well, Donald Trump had the audacity to run for President and win because the American people voted for him under the system we have which we thought was not a dictatorship. Now, some of us are not so sure as we begin to see parallels between what has gone on in 2020 in America and what happened in other nations who turned from freedom into dictatorial systems right under the noses of their citizens who thought such a thing impossible. I realize that many no longer revere our Christmas celebration because they do not believe in God. However, many of us do still believe a baby was born as the Son of God and that he was also hated by the powers running things in that day. They wanted him crucified so he would no longer be a threat to their power. An old story, but the lusts that brought about those events are alive and well today, just as in that day. As we celebrate this beautiful Christmas and it's message, please hold this nation, once blessed by God, in your prayers. It is very dark out there and it seems no one cares about the people anymore. We do care about each other though, and so, show whatever love and caring you can to those close around during these days of great uncertainty. May God bless our nation once again.

After years of pretending Melania doesn’t exist when they weren’t claiming she was a prostitute, hostage, or indifferent Marie Antoinette I just can’t wait until they announce how Jill Biden is the most glamourous and beautiful and fashionable first lady since ... well since Michelle Obama but nobody can hold a candle to her, really. So besides her Jill will be the most beautifulest First Lady since Jackie O. Prepare for the swooning.

I will be in a media blackout. I love the Trump family and have no intention of watching as they are illegally replaced by that fumbling thief and his conniving wife.

Thanks for posting. Classy.
However, the hate just seeps thru on twitter. Disgusting comments and no admonishments from “management”.

So besides her Jill will be the most beautifulest First Lady since Jackie O.And she'll be just like Jackie O. when Joe kicks. I think Jill is looking forward to the comparison.

In the other direction, she just barely staves off Rosalyn
Carter. Most beautiful, well we all know it was Michelle. /s
BTW, Melania is far better looking than that overplayed
Jackie O.

No question about it.
And she has a doctorate, so they’ll imply she’s SO much smarter than Melania.
Heck, I love dogs, especially GSDs, but look how ape sh!t crazy the press is already going over their dogs - before inauguration (gag), the dogs have already had more fawning PR than poor Melania in 4 years!

It’s called the, ‘China Room’ and it’s where they keep the fancy dinnerware collections of all of the First Ladies.
They decorated a portion of it this year to look like an Old-Timey kitchen preparing a Christmas Dinner.
