Careful people would distinguish between Influenza, and a rhinovirus (common cold) and a coronavirus (such as COVID-19). There is some overlap because some coronavises are considered the cause for some common colds.
But I think the bean counters are sloppy and throw most of this stuff into one giant bucket.

I think there should be a national lockdown until there is a flu vaccine that is 99% effective. It’s to keep the children safe you know.
Same deal this year. They just gave the flu a scary name and started calling all deaths of old people that scary name. Now the sheeple are ascared.
