'Science says' is a game anyone can play

"Science says" is a game Democrats have invented to tell us what to do. It's like "Simon says" only for adults.

How Do You Play Science Says?

One person or a group assumes the role of the leader and calls out the actions. Everyone else must follow the leader and do the action, but only when the command is prefaced with the phrase "science says."

For example, science says, pay more taxes. Everyone pays up. Science says, shut down the economy. Everyone stops working. Science says, gender is fluid. Everyone transitions to another gender. Science says, global warming. Everyone changes their way of life. Science says, systemic racism. Everyone denounces their own and other people's whiteness, burns cars, and breaks into stores, taking home free sneakers, cell phones, and big-screen TVs.

If a player or a group does the action when the leader did not say "science says," they are eliminated, lose their jobs and income, their reputation and careers are destroyed, they become unemployable and sometimes they go to jail. People can also be eliminated for failing to follow instructions that include "science says." It is the ability to distinguish between genuine and fake commands, rather than actual ability, that matters in the game. The action just needs to be attempted and nothing needs to be accomplished.

The object of the game is to eliminate everyone who does not belong to the group of leaders, as quickly as possible. The winner is usually the most compliant player who has successfully followed all the commands. Occasionally, however, even those players may be eliminated, thus resulting in the leader becoming the ultimate winner.

Historically the leader has been the Democrat Party, which has used "science says" to its own advantage. Outsiders have resented the idea of telling others what to do.

But outsiders can play "science says" just as well as the Democrats can - and today we will show you how. Let's play.

“Follow the science” has become the democrats favorite phrase, in order to shame people into accepting that which may or may not be complete science.

So, we are being shamed into believing global-warming/climate-change, and we must pay for the plans that are being sold as planet-saving must-haves.

We also have to ‘follow the science’ in regards to covid, but, the real science is still not settled.

Follow the science should be banned from being used in order to make government and political decisions.

EXCELLENT SCIENCE REPORT

Long read, but very good explanation of death reporting and COVID

Reason behind Dying: A Primer
By Sammy Edwards / November 29, 2020

Guest Essay by Kip Hansen – 27 November 2020

There has been massive media attention on Covid-19 deaths – and there have been a lot of them. The CDC as of noon on 26 November 2020 was reporting that there have been 259,005 total Covid-19 deaths in the United States.

Yet anyone who reads widely is aware that there have been reports of a motorcycle accident victim being reported as a Covid death. There are many who correctly report that all people dying from or with Covid and even suspected of dying from-or-with Covid-19 are all being counted as certified reportable must-make-the-headlines Covid-19 Deaths.

[Note: This is a long and rather detailed explanation of what leads to the situation in which we find ourselves regarding Covid-19 Deaths reporting. Those who want a better understanding of the issue should continue reading. Readers with no or little interest can just accept this brief synopsis: “It’s Complicated” and move on to other posts. ]

Various experts, journalists, bloggers, and pundits tells us that “Covid Deaths” are being over-counted, mis-counted and even under-counted. Other pundits and media-reported experts desperately try to reassure us that Covid Death counts are correct and real – and that we should all stay concerned and follow all government mandates – which vary from “reasonable” to “obviously based on magical thinking” (closing bars and restaurants at 10 PM because that’s when the Corona Virus Zombies attack) — all this despite various governments having different and contradictory mandates (or even an absence of mandates) and the various States in the United States following differing rules and policies on Covid Deaths reporting. Those reporting “facts” like “US Covid-19 Deaths overestimated by 17 times” (based on this CDC comorbitity data) are sadly mistaken and misinform the general public, just adding to the general confusion on the subject.

So true. Except democrats cheat, as usual, with science says. They make up their own facts, and get scientists to sign off on it. When science has an agenda, it’s not science anymore.

Science says ... there are only two genders.
Science says ... an unborn baby is not just a clump of cells.

Hmm ... the “science says” crowd likes to ignore those, don’t they?

There have been three big movements in the last 100 years that had “science” as their mantra. The nazis, the Soviets, and the eugenics movement. All three defended themselves as innocently following science.
It was the centerpiece of who they were/are.
And now the American socialists have picked it up.

At one time it was an excepted fact of science that the Earth was flat.

Skepticism is integral to science. Reported experimental results which are interesting get reproduced by others, or debunked.

Consequently “the science” is a fraudulent concept.

Conservatives are skeptical about both society (which contains scoundrels and incompents) and government (ditto). “Liberals,” OTOH, are cynical about society and naive about government (which as Paine pointed out is a necessary evil - or worse).

Actually the scientific method, e.g. Descartes and Galileo post-dates the discovery of the new world. “Science” didn’t exist when Columbus sailed. It was just a mish-mash of beliefs and assumptions about the physical world. So no, science never asserted that the earth was flat.

No, the knowledge that the world is round is thousands of years old. I idea that people “in olden times” thought the world is flat is a fiction used to disparage other groups.

“Science says” only works for and on uneducated people. I love this mantra because it’s always easy to say, “OK let’s exam what the science shows at this time”.
I’ve used it in discussions on global warming, homosexual rights and fracking.
