....Joesph R. Biden Jr. was injured Saturday and was being examined by a doctor Sunday afternoon.
According to the transition press pool Sunday, Mr. Biden slipped and twisted his ankle while playing with his dog Major.
“Out of an abundance of caution, he will be examined this afternoon by an orthopedist,” the press pool wrote, citing the Office of President-elect Biden.

My sympathies to you. I lost my mother to Alzheimer’s fourteen years ago. Thankfully falling was not a concern. I’ve worked in nursing homes and hospitals. Falls are the NUMBER 1 concern given to all staff, from doctors, nurses down to a mop jockey like me. Anytime we mop floors we put “Wet Floor’’ signs
It might seem strange to people who have never worked in a nursing home or hospital but being on two feet, safe and steady is paramount.

They ought to examine his head while they’re at it.
They have to keep him alive for 2 years and 1 day so President Harris can be reelected twice and serve 10 years.

Just FYI, my comment was tongue in cheek reference to him getting an ankle monitor.

Point is— if this happens before a electoral determination-even after one and coming up to the inauguration- the vp candidate cannot be substituted for an inauguration. Not possible at all.
