I stumbled across the start of Colbert’s show on Friday night. He opened with the Good Bye song from The Sound of Music with photos of President Trump and his people.
The joke is on him! The reason the Von Trapps said good bye to Austria was because the NAZIs were taking over.
They know not what they do.

Keen observation. Oh, the irony. The Colbert production squad reached deep into the abyss for that intro material.
Colbert is a guy whose Late Show was dying and there were rumors he was going to be canned before it became a five-year-long non-stop Trump-bashing show.
Now that he’s just going to be a sad apologist for Joe Biden, I’m not sure who’ll want to stick around for that.
