They came in as pets and got released??? Or were they intentionally brought here to destabilize the area?

Ten pounds is a small dog, but they are ulgy. Also appealing to some as a pet. Supposedly, they have unusually high intelligence for a reptile and can learn a small repertoire of commands and tricks.

In other parts of the country, the Komodo Dragon is a growing problem. They can get even bigger. The venom from a Komodo bite contains chemicals that prevent the victim’s blood from coagulating, meaning you can bleed out very quickly unless you get help. Keep small children and pets away.

When hunter friendly habitat is dwindling it seems like feral animals, like pigs, should be stimulating an interest in varmint control hunting. When I was a teenager I was a bounty hunter for muskrats in the San Joaquin valley: $.35, dead or alive. (Mostly dead.)

Catch them, hook them up on 20 foot chains all along the border fence. Find a tunnel? Fill it up with them.
