In the aftermath of the police killing of George Floyd in May, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell vowed that the league would help address “systemic issues” and later offered an apology to former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who began kneeling at gamers during the anthem in 2016 but failed to sign with a team in ensuing seasons.
But the league must take further steps to address the “nepotism and cronyism” that preserves overwhelmingly white and male leadership at its 32 franchises, said Fox Sports host and former linebacker Emmanuel Acho.

Maybe we could do like zimbabwe. Just hand over the teams to some ex-players, like clapperdick, shannon sharpy, etc. and see how fast the money disappears.
Apply Affirmative action to teams, no more than 7% black players.
Some fourth-rate ex-baller who played for three teams in three years. Most of it on the practice squad. Now he’s an ‘analyst’ for Fox Sports, I believe. Think ‘Colin Kaepernick’ with a thinner resume.
The NFL? What’s that?
Keep on killing it. The NFL isn’t quite dead, yet.
Black men lead on the teams because why?
Well ya know, if Achooo and the others want quotas in management for blacks and other non-whites, then we need quotas of blacks on the teams. Blacks are what about 11 to 12 percent of the population? Then let’s say blacks can not have more than 15 percent of the players in the league. Seems fair to me.
A nobody...
“In the aftermath of the police killing of George Floyd”
That’s not proven.
... they have been financially molesting fans buying tickets for years though...
I noticed there’s been a lot of ambulance chasing lawyers advertising everywhere for men who were sexually abused in the Boy scouts. Now I see the real reason B.Hussein forced the Scouts to allow pedos to join. Never heard one peep about sexual abuse in the Scouts until that mofo came along. I was in the Scouts from the early 1970s to the early 1990s, as were my friends, brothers, cousins, not one of us had even a hint of sexual abuse. But OH! Post Obama, now they have “90,000” cases. How about they sue Obama?
I agree, the entire enterprise is racist, do away with it.
Me neither, but I have "tagged along" to some doozies. Including the 1986 Giants shellacking of the 49ers (49-3), in which they knocked their 4th QB (Montana) out of the game that year, on the way to their SB win. And also Game 6 and 7 of the 1986 World Series Mets vs. BoxSox.
“But the league must take further steps to address the “nepotism and cronyism” that preserves overwhelmingly white and male leadership at its 32 franchises, said Fox Sports host and former linebacker Emmanuel Acho.”
Are they going to apply similar standards to Hollywood and the media in general? They are rampant with nepotism and cronyism.
I agree! We need more Indian, Mongolian, and Tibetan NFL Owners and Coaches! (At least conservative ones)
The Dims already want to be Zimbabwe - it could be like the black farm program they’ve proposed - use USDA money to hand over farms to black “farmers.”
Or, Jay-Z’s a billionaire; why doesn’t he buy a team and make the organization 100% black from top to bottom, see how it goes? Otherwise STFU about systemic racism and that crap.
Nepotism - cronyism. What bullsh!t. If I am the sole owner of a business and wish to run it as a family business it’s nobodie’s business but mine. Yes, team owners made decisions for the league based on what they felt was good for the league. Show me a black man that could afford to buy a franchise in 1970. Show me a black man who was forbidden to buy a franchise. Just because some crackpot ex-player makes a claim doesn’t make it true. Moot point anyway as the NFL is kaput.
He probably will be one of the first on the list Cory Booker is assembling for blacks to be GIVEN land to farm....
Did he ever complain while cashing his checks for playing???
He needs a serious mental wedgie.
Keep digging. you overpaid, wokeness-obsessed jocks. The number of battered fans (including some here) continues to dwindle.
"Hey, We've got one who can see!"
