DETROIT (AP) — General Motors says it will no longer support the Trump administration in legal efforts to end California’s right to set its own clean-air standards.
CEO Mary Barra said in a letter Monday to environmental groups that GM will pull out of the lawsuit, and it urges other automakers to do so.
She said the company agrees with President-elect Joe Biden’s plan to expand electric vehicle use. Last week, GM said it is testing a new battery chemistry that will bring electric-vehicle costs down to those of gas-powered vehicles within five years.

As much as I disagree with these ridiculous new emissions rules I believe this to be a states’ rights/Tenth Amendment issue that the federal government had no business interfering with.
There’s a reason I don’t own a GM vehicle, though. State governments are better suited than the FedGov to address their citizens’ needs, but individual consumers are the best judges of their own interests.

Yep. $4/gallon gas will be coming back and the rest of the world’s oil producers will be happy once again.

I bought my last GM vehicle in 1993. I got rid of it in 1994.
