Probably asked to leave by Costco by Costco security and got “trespassed” when he didnt. Don’t do Costco anyway since their head cheese was a YUGE obxxx fan.
Costco’s policy is that the customers have to wear masks when they’re inside. The cops were outside.
Costco, under private property laws, has the right to ask people to leave. If said people do not leave, they are trespassing. I’m an anti-mask warrior myself, but when management asks me to leave, I quietly take my business elsewhere, which is what this dude should have done. I’m sure the cops were there for a trespass issue, not a mask issue.

Uh huh... and when your church going buddy doesn’t wanna just follow orders, they’ll fire him and fire the next guy and the next guy, until they get to a guy that wants to feed his family more than follow a few “abstract principles” and they will have NO problem just following orders.
In fact, if your church going cop buddy (and I have a couple of them myself) is going to be honest with you, when it comes down to cases, you’ll turn from a buddy into a criminal scumbag right around the time the next paycheck is on the opposite side of the balance scale from your rights and your freedom.
I was at the Costco in Sugar Land, TX this past Saturday. I almost could not park because many parking spaces were taken over by a bunch of protestors who were protesting Costco’s mask requirements. I thought their protest was pretty dumb. Governor Abbott made masks a statewide requirement. If they wanted to protest, they should have taken it to Austin. I agree with the protestors that the masks are BS and I hate wearing one. But if I want to shop at Costco (or anywhere else in Texas) I have to wear one.
Meanwhile law abiding Americans are watching their elections stolen, corrupted, as they’re being threatened, assaulted, gang beat, looted and burned out...
But lets go for the easy target of some guy with his kid shopping.

Cops are not our friends.
They are loyal to whomever pays them.
Municipalities pay their cops with grants from the state and federal governments, and with proceeds from tickets and property confiscations.
Back when the township taxes paid for the cops, they were loyal to the local taxpayers. Taxes don’t pay they now, and they will happily screw locals for their amusement.
