Alyssa Milano Warned Against Electronic Voting Machines in 2018: ‘We Need Paper Ballots’
Breitbart ^ | 11/22/20 | ALANA MASTRANGELO

Left-wing activist and actress Alyssa Milano took to Twitter in 2018 to warn her followers about electronic voting machines and how easily they could be hacked, stressing the need for paper ballots.

“IMPORTANT QUESTION: Is the possibility of Russia tampering with the midterm elections freaking you out? It should be freaking you out. It’s a real possibility,” tweeted Milano in ahead of the 2018 Midterm Elections. “I feel the need to point out (again) that our voting system is vulnerable to attack. Citizens of 13 states will be voting in the midterms on insecure, obsolete, hackable, paperless voting machines that cannot be recounted.”

“Here’s an excellent 5 minute video called, ‘I Hacked an Election. So Can the Russians.’ It shows how you can REMOTELY rig a paperless Diebold voting machine,” added Milano, sharing a New York Times video of a hacker demonstrating how easily he can hack into an electronic voting machine and switch votes.

Watch Below:

“These are the same machines that will be used by all Georgian voters in the 2018 midterms,” warned Milano. She stressed the importance of having “paper ballots everywhere.”

“What makes this frustrating is that we know how to make our voting system resilient against all attacks,” wrote Milano. “We need a) paper ballots everywhere, b) secure chain of custody of those ballots c) Risk Limiting Audits (RLAs).”

Don’t care.

She’d kill my arousal with the first word she spoke.

Exactly. She’d probably be spewing liberal crap while doing it.

“No, no I’m not spitting it out, that’s bad for the environment.”

What we really need is a national design voting machine with open source software, created and certified by the National Security Agency. Individual voter verification with an entire scanned palm print or the equivalent, created when that voter is registered.

Those who cannot vote in person would be visited where they live much like with the census.

Importantly this is a numbers game, like with illegal immigration. We cannot expect perfection, but if fraud can be reduced to just a marginal level, that will be enough.

Last time I voted in Texas, 2000, we used scantron ballot cards. Filled in bubbles with a pencil and turned them in. The scan card offered a paper record, and the tally state wide came in remarkably fast.

Excellent system, secure and simple, and not very costly. Therefore, I am sure Texas got rid of it.

In my state (CT) the big city criminal Democratic machine does whatever it wants.

As long as they get to “count” the vote, we lose.

No solution works unless it decouples the corrupt local cities from the process.

Did we have these problems with the simple lever-pulling voting machines we used to have? Seemed like things were reported in faster before all of this so-called “advanced” technology was implemented.

“Advanced technology” is fancier and flashier on many things, yes, but not necessarily more efficient.

I have been thinking much the same thing recently:

1) Hand-marked paper ballots only (not paper printed by the voting machine.

2) Open source software (identical for all states).

3) Software compiled from accessible source on election day in the presence of technically-savvy observers from both parties.

4) Voting machines must NOT be accessible by Internet.

5) Compulsory bio-metric voter ID (with photo) issued by each state. ID should be FREE to avoid rejection due to “vote suppression” attacks.

6) ALL counting MUST be viewed by observers from both parties.

7) In the case of mail-in or absentee ballots, signature verification MUST be viewed by observers from both parties.

8) When observers are not present, verification and counting MUST be suspended.

9) Provenance and custody of all batched MUST be documented and reviewable. In the absence of such evidence, ballots are deemed invalid.

This should either be federal legislation or a unified bill implemented by the states.

If Trump won the Popular Vote, the Left would demand keeping The Electoral College.
