Like JFK himself, Cronkite was in the chrysalis stage of becoming a full blown Delusional Lying Leftist as we see in full manifestation today.
I had one of those Fenders once when I was in three roll ‘n roll bands, my favorite being our party band (”SOS”) for kicks at our friends’ houses playing mostly Rolling Stones. It was a kick.
But the seed and the blood only comes from the father.
I too am a month older than John John.
My mom said it was a great time to be pregnant, with Jackie and all.

I was sitting in my HR class when the speaker clicked on and E. J. Bryant, our principal, made an announcement.
Being only 10 we did not fully understand what was happening but we realized that the world was not right.

We’ve managed to get through all of those things for a couple hundred years, but we’re slowly drifting Left a little more each time.

Trump will be the President for a second term.
I pray he will also be President in 2024 for a third term. Violating one provision of the Constitution to save the rest of the Constitution and our Free Constitutional Republic would be worth it IMO.
It was the end of gym class. Our instructor, a former Marine, made us fall in & announced that the President had been shot. Then the assistant coach said from across the gym, “the President is dead!”.
We boys thought this meant war with Russia and that the school buses were going to ship us to boot camp.
When I got home the TV was wall-to-wall live coverage. It was my fifteenth birthday.
Soon afterward I heard the first calls for national gun control, and that hasn’t stopped ever since.
Just got off KP in Frankfurt when another guy told me then they sounded an alert we thought it had started.
11/22/63? Cleaning the spark plugs of my 1960 Saab at the auto shop at Ft Dix NJ. We were worried more about whether the passes would be pulled for the weekend. My thought was a couple of days later, “how the hell did he do it with a Carcano Carbine”? His position should have been given away just from the ring flash from the barrel.
7th grade. Lived in Arlington right across the Potomac from DC. Had schoolmates whose parents worked at the White House and for Robert Kennedy.
