As in carpentry, measure twice, cut once.
I will enjoy the answers from those who existed and were old enough to have a memory maintained through such a long crowded journey.
As for me, Not born yet. If there were an event preceding my human existence, perhaps the good lord will share it with me one day.
I remember thinking “In 75 years from now it will be 2020 and I will be a 46 year old dyslexic.”
Sure enough, I got 2020 backward.

On that date, I was in school and remember several teachers crying. The principal said something or other over the PA system which sounded like adults squawking in a Charlie Brown cartoon.
Quiet bus ride home and into the den where the little B&W TV was explaining everything. Then, into the yard to play.
Well, I had yet to be born 75 years ago today, but my parents were celebrating the first Thanksgiving after the end of WWII.
I am a month older than John-John.
So, I was wondering why I couldn’t watch my afternoon cartoons.
And the TV was turned around from the living room so we could watch at the kitchen table. That never happened before.
Will be 75 on Dec 28 th, so will wait a bit to reply🤷♀️
57 years ago I was 16 months old, so I was eating, pooping, and bugging my big brother. Mr. Vaskypilot was in elementary school and remembers the announcement from the principal.
I’m 79 today. I lost 18 years.
