Father Gordian not a fan of JFK. At the time I was a sophomore in high school and couldn’t care less about politics but later I realized that JFK and his clan were really bad news.
OK dfwgator - gotta tell me the concept here.
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman : Anybody know who Lee Harvey Oswald was? Private Snowball?
Private Snowball : Sir, he shot Kennedy, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman : That’s right, and do you know how far away he was?
Private Snowball : Sir, it was pretty far! From that book suppository building, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman : All right, knock it off! Two hundred and fifty feet! He was two hundred and fifty feet away and shooting at a moving target. Oswald got off three rounds with an old Italian bolt action rifle in only six seconds and scored two hits, including a head shot! Do any of you people know where these individuals learned to shoot? Private Joker?
Private Joker : Sir, in the Marines, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman : In the Marines! Outstanding! Those individuals showed what one motivated marine and his rifle can do! And before you ladies leave my island, you will be able to do the same thing!
I was hanging out with the in-crowd at my high school (I lived for the in crowd) and I remember one guy especially was more angry than anything and said he hated Dallas. I don’t remember seeing a lot of tears but I heard my sister had called my dad in tears.
You don’t remember that hit song “I’m a Patsy” by Lee Harvey and the Conspiracies. It went to Number One with a bullet.
OK, so what’s with the barricades and guitar Ruby’s holding?
Lee Harvey and the Conspiracies...
That’s funny.
Yes, I remember that weekend in front of the black and white TV..and the shooting!
Yes, things seemed bigger when we were smaller!!! Media magnify everything, haaa!
In Tampa, there's a marker where JFK spoke before leaving to Dallas.
Unintended consequences of the successful plot to assassinate a president.
Your dad knew what a lot of bleeding heart Leftists simply denied and ignored.
JFK was bad news.
I’ve watched the live coverage many times.
Cronkite just *knew* it was a right-winger, they kept referencing Adlai Stevenson getting attacked in Dallas a few weeks before by “right wingers”.
That’s why I believe there are all the Conspiracy Theories, because they don’t want to admit that a Commie did it.
Looks like a Fender Stratocaster to me.
“What about your mother. You’re a part of her too.
A woman is born with all the eggs she’s going to have. Part of you was there, you just didn’t know it.”

True. We were all part of the egg and the sperm.
The reason JFK was in Dallas in the first place was to try to reconcile between the Conservative and Liberal factions of the Texas Democratic Party.
Yep, once upon a time, there were Conservatives in the Democratic Party.
Our nation became a welfare state as a result of FDR and Leftist-In-Training JFK was prepping to increase it to full blown socialism and Marxism to which his brother Teddy was dedicated and the long line of Leftists thereafter.
It’s true that by today’s standards JFK was a Conservative. But clearly as with Bobby, he would have “evolved” with time.
That’s not 75 years ago
A day that will live in infamy. 57 years ago.
The first coup. In us history An internal democrat one
