I Believe Joe Biden and his $200 Gun Tax Proposal Can Be Stopped
Florida Legislature ^ | 11/21/2020 | Brian Griffin

Florida Statute 104.061(2) provides:
(2) No person shall directly or indirectly give or promise anything of value to another intending thereby to buy that person’s or another’s vote or to corruptly influence that person or another in casting his or her vote. Any person who violates this subsection is guilty of a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in....
https://www.flsenate.gov/Laws/Statutes/2012/0104.061

"On the campaign, Biden had said he would forgive $10,000 in student debt for all borrowers, and the rest of the debt for those who attended public colleges or historically Black colleges and universities and earn less than $125,000 a year."

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/14/what-bidens-student-loan-forgiveness-plan-means-for-borrowers.html

There was an oft-repeated Biden commercial that ran on TV in West Coast Florida offering a $7,000/year 'child care' payment promise to parental voters and a $10,000 loan forgiveness payment promise to voters owing on student loans.

Does any one after reading this carefully and having seen the 'Biden plan' commercial think that Biden is not a felon?

Other states might have a similar voter corruption law. Some of you are lawyers and have easy access to your state's legal code.

Massive payment promises to persons in interest group voting blocks by ruthless political aspirants are the greatest internal threats to our nation. Your guns and Republican politicians will be as endangered as white rhinos come 2022 and 2024 unless Biden is safely put away in a state penitentary before late January 2021.

Making our nation and your guns safe from Joe Biden will simply take one determined prosecutor, 12 honest jurors, a copy of F.S. 104.102(2) or another state's equivalent, a video device running an endless loop copy of the 'Biden plan' video commercial, and most importantly, some help from you.

Take a look inside your gun safes. You could soon have to pay a $200 federal tax on some of your guns if Biden becomes President. A $200 "one-time" tax could become a $300 per annum tax, per gun.

I urge you to preserve your guns, your funds, your domestic bliss and the bedrock right of the Bill of Rights via state law, while it is still possible.

Rule 308 stops it.

Yup. If Biden wins, and the Senate goes Dem (Georgia runoff will be rigged) nothing is going to get ‘stopped’.

This is a SCOTUS case just waiting to happen. In a way, I wish it were to happen, because it would provide precedence to overturn the National Firearms Act, in particular the tax stamp required to own fully automatic weapons. I am of the mind set the American citizens should be able to arm themselves adequately enough to fight against government - that includes automatic weapons, artillery, tanks and so on. I write this because it equalizes power - it is a deterrent. I write this because I don’t want to wage war against our government.

Are they going to assess this gun tax on the youth gangs in the ghetto, who may not have bought those guns legally in the first place?

That depends on whether they STACK THE COURT first - and that depends on WHO WINS GEORGIA.

But since the governor there is a RINO, I’m not going to do anything to help the Republicans in that race.

I have a feeling Kemp is in big-time trouble with that law. Did you hear Lin Wood go off on him yesterday?

They can pass whatever they want. I won’t obey and I will regard the ones who enforce it as domestic enemies.

Quick question...If they can put a tax on firearms, which is a constitutional right, why cant they they also put a poll tax for voting?? Is that not a constitutional right too??? If so our constitutional rights can now be taxed??? If they actually do try and put a tax on firearms I hope a congress critter would also propose a poll tax so as to see the dems squirm...if one constitutional right can be taxed then ALL of them can be taxed!!

screwed up world!!!

Well I’m certainly glad the FIB won’t use their database to identify potential taxees. From the FIB’s website.

Privacy and Security of NICS Information
The privacy and security of the information in the NICS is governed by regulations. The FBI takes extensive measures to ensure the security and integrity of the system information and agency use. The NICS is not to be used to establish a federal firearm registry. Information about an inquiry resulting in a firearms receipt or transfer is destroyed, per NICS regulations.

What, me worry?

Didn’t, but what’s up there? By the way, my original post here was sarcasm, based on what some people here were saying before the election.

“They can pass whatever they want. I won’t obey and I will regard the ones who enforce it as domestic enemies.”

But how far will you go if you don’t pay the $200? Will you:

1) Still concealed (or open) carry - assuming that you do now?
2) Going to the range, knowing cops may be there?
3) Using your gun to protect your property...knowing that you face possible felony charges?

My point being it’s easy to say millions will ignore the new law, which will probably happen - but the law will be there, just waiting for those people to make ‘mistakes’.

It probably falls into the area covered by Haynes vs. US. Felons can’t be required to register their guns because to do so violates their 5th Amendment protection from self-incrimination. What percentage of gangbangers are prohibited by reason of being underage, or convicted felons?

Simply put it is unconstitutional and unenforceable.

I will not register, nor will I pay said tax.

Ask Andrew Cuomo about compliance with the SAFE Act in NY.

Compliance was statistically zero. There were a few dunderheads who registered them, and got rid of their standard capacity magazines. 99.96% did not.
