Vanity - Does FOX news have any "journalists" that investigate?
11-21-2020 | Self

On Friday Tucker Carlson gave a half hearted retraction to his hit commentary on Sidney Powell about not providing evidence of election fraud in the system. And at the same time stated he has seen no evidence and those at the WHITE HOUSE have seen no evidence ... I disagree with that and Tucker you are a “journalist” and you like to lecture others in the main stream media about how "journalists" investigate. How about you and FOX use some of your billions earned and “investigate” like journalists do and help the small legal team put together the "evidence."

This brings up another legitimate question:

Carlson is not a journalist, and I don’t believe he claims to be one - he’s a commentator. Chris Wallace does claim to be a journalist, but of course he’s really just another commentator.

Seems like local news does investigative journalists but it’s only for local concerns. There are investigative news shows like 20/20 but fost have gone left. One exception would be Full Measure with Sharyl Attkinson.

The deep state sets the narrative and transmits the talking points.

There are no journalists, just paid actors who sit in makeup chairs and read stuff.

Was he the one who said Trump should stop talking about the steal about a month before the election?

I tried justifying a little ‘withdrawal’ by DVR’ing Carlson, Hannity, and Laura so I could selectively watch and zip through the commercials, but now they are unwatchable for me. So I just read a lot more, which is a good thing.

+4 on your original post (my whole household agrees).
I would go further and hold the local fox affiliates accountable as well.
My local fox19’s drift to the left was one of the deciding factors in cutting off TV.Was getting POed in the morning just trying to watch the weather.

If the shoe were on the other foot and slow jo was claiming fraud. Ther would be an army of investigators crawling all over the story

Fox like CNN is a shell news operation. The report on 5 stories a day. The rest of the fake news is gleaned from other left wing operations.

Journalists use this kind of language intentionally to mislead.

There is _no_ stepping back from those kind of tactics.

Any "journalist" who does it just once is dead to me _forever_.

In early 2020, when this COVID crap started in the spring, I pretty much turned off the TV - didn’t even watch sports, like tennis, that I usually watch in the summer.

What I found out was that not having the TV i.e.cable on, after the first week or so, was a REALLY good thing. I started going to bed earlier, more or less fell into a Circadian rhythm, & in general, felt less stressed out.

What I got into was listening to podcasts. True Crime in particular, plus a couple of health related ones. I worked for a police department for a while, so the true crime is interesting to me & I’ve been on a 3 year journey to improve my health (lost 1/3 of my body weight & dodged the T2D bullet) so the health ones are also of interest. I can also take my phone outside & listen if I’m doing something really boring or that I dislike (weeding the garden is a biggy). I do some reading via Kindle.

I am not going back to TV/cable. Period. My dad has advanced heart failure, going on 98 yo & really cannot do much except watch TV. He was a FOX-a-holic before the election, but even he is very disgusted & I notice that for ‘news’, he’s more & more on News Max TV. He’s watching the Outdoor Channel & Smithsonian most of the time now - before the election, FOX was on most of the day. When he is no longer around any more, the cable will permanently go bye-bye.

I’ve often googled the authors of articles or contributors of TV conversations and have found that very few of them have journalism degrees. Abd I assume that to have a journalism degree one just take an ethics course, so it’s not like they don’t know better when they openly become progressive activists.

Investigations cost money. The media prefer reading press releases by socialists/globalists and waiting for the opposition to prove they are wrong. Any authorized investigations they make are designed to prove the socialist/globalists cause is right. If it doesn’t, the story goes in the trash can.

They are “television personalities”. Their only job and the thing they are paid for, is to generate ratings.

Ditto. Powell and Wood are in the middle of a massive bar room brawl and they don’t have a lot of time to appear on any given program. If Carlson isn’t happy with it he should get out of the office and personally do some investigating. They can find any number of readers who can sit in his chair while he is gone.

Tucker “Mr. Smith, thank you for being here tonight” “Glad to be here, Tucker, I’d like to say that my new book syhows conclusively that...” “That’s a brilliant point, thank you so much for sharing it with us, Mr. Smith - now a word from My Pillow” Carlson......

I’d add Stuart Varney in with Maria and Lou. All 3 are excellent imho.
