A former Starbucks Corp barista in New Jersey sued the coffee chain on Thursday, claiming she was fired illegally because she did not want to wear a “PRIDE” T-shirt, which she said conflicted with her religious beliefs.
Betsy Fresse said her August 2019 dismissal from a Glen Ridge, New Jersey store, near her Newark home, for allegedly violating Starbucks’ “core values” amounted to illegal religious discrimination under federal civil rights law.
The Seattle-based chain’s website says Starbucks values “creating a culture of warmth and belonging,” and is committed to respecting inclusion and diversity.
According to the complaint, Starbucks violated that commitment by trying to “exclude and silence Mrs. Fresse whose religious beliefs it deemed undesirable.”
Fresse is seeking unspecified damages.

You must submit to indoctrination
Where is the ACLU?
Private business requires employee to wear a “uniform”. Employee refuses. Employee terminated. No different from a Ford dealer requiring mechanics to wear work clothes with a “Ford” emblem, or a bank requiring men to wear suits with ties.
Employer chooses what uniforms an employee wears on the job. Employee choses whether he/she wants to wear the uniform or quit. Freedom for both.
Anal sex is a “core value” at Starbucks?
off topic, but I wonder, when and how did homosexuals co-opt the word “pride”, as in being proud of being homosexual, and having “pride” celebrations of the homosexual community?
And how did they do the same to the word “gay”? The word “gay” is never used anymore according to the dictionary definition of that word.

As long as you don’t deviate from our way of thinking. If you do you’re out.
To a large extent, people's identity and their behavior is none of my business. Go be yourself. But PRIDE? Wallowing in unrepentant sin? As a Christian, they cannot force me to celebrate that. Direct conflict with religious freedom.
With a decent attorney, she’ll win. It’s actually pretty cut and dried. It’s just that nobody has the guts to fight - until her.

No, they are committed to celebrating sodomites. If they were indeed committed to creating a culture of warmth and belonging, they wouldn’t be celebrating sodomites. That does not confer warmth and belonging to non-sodomites (normal people)
We have an old-timers coffee group that meets at a Starbucks here in California. We take a table on the outside, right next to their big glass walls. After their politics became anti-American we buy our coffee elsewhere, but still sit at the same table, drinking from cups that show their competitors’ logos.
They no longer get our business or our tips.
Imagine a coffee shop where the uniform says "No N****** allowed". You know, just as a joke. 'Cause it's so funny, and stuff. Think a court would like that uniform?

That’s a lot different than, “just a uniform”.
One MUST be mentally insane to be “proud” of choosing a lifestyle that is so evil God describes it as an “obamanation”.
One MUST be mentally insane to be “proud” of believing you can wish & hope and change your God given XY-chromosomes to XX-chromosomes...like magic.
Pride is one of the 7 deadly sins.
I never hear about humbleness or humility from the Left.
Gay Pride/Rainbow Flags are homofascism. It is a radical political activist group. Designate conquered territory. It isn’t “equality”. It advocates supremacy and no one should have to submit to espousing it.
They are ribbon bullies.
Can your employer require that you wear MAGA caps?
Very true, that is very different than the mechanics at the Ford dealer wearing a uniform with the Ford emblem.
It’s one thing to have a uniform which advertises that you are at a certain business, but it’s different to have a uniform which displays a social or political statement.
Too busy making sure all the fake votes for Plugs the Pedo are counted... repeatedly.
