Private business requires employee to wear a “uniform”. Employee refuses. Employee terminated.


The uniform contains a message that is not directly related to the business function. It is a political message.

That’s a lot different than, “just a uniform”.

Very true, that is very different than the mechanics at the Ford dealer wearing a uniform with the Ford emblem.

It’s one thing to have a uniform which advertises that you are at a certain business, but it’s different to have a uniform which displays a social or political statement.
