It's obvious the media is shaping the direction and choosing who leads the country. I was struck by how young the reporters were in the presser today--young, spoiled and clueless--and utterly impervious to any understanding of the grave situation the country is in.
From the headlines after the press conference, all this ignorant posse were absorbed with was how effectively they could rush out and mock the dedicated professionals and the evidenced-backed information they presented.
I'm sure their super cool friends thought they knocked it out the park with the vapid, shallow and mean-spirited coverage they blasted across the media network right after.
THEY MADE FUN OF THIS CRITICAL INFORMATION with headlines like this:
"Sweating Rudy Giuliani presents 'evidence' for 'massive voting fraud' as hair dye runs down his face - alongside 'elite legal strike force' who claim Joe Biden's win is a Venezuelan plot they uncovered on the internet."
I'm beyond disgusted, sad and furious. These ignorant ungrateful jerks ridiculed the efforts and serious presentation.
This generation is all wrapped up in celebrity culture, rap music, selfies and the cool factor of being around those they think have high brand value.
Its a travesty that such frivolous, unserious and disloyal young citizens are wielding the power of digital headlines that drives the perceptions of millions in seconds.
They obviously have no deep connection to honesty, respect and especially truth--since important stuff like who you hang with, who you name-drop, what edgy bylines you can publish, what microbreweries you dig and fashion are so much more compelling.
Stop with the Wahh-Wahh, noob.
Nope, the boomers created this entire mess. The gen xers through millennial are the victims.
They are not reporters. They are empty headed news readers.
No substance, no depth, nothing to offer.
The old commies built the friggin mess we have now, and have been effective for 90 years.
Highly effective.
I’m not disagreeing with that at all.
My point here is that the millennials in media are wielding incredible influence that is warping what’s true and actually assassinating the characters of those like the POTUS—whoever doesnt fit into their trendy progressive mindset, stupidly even knee-jerk alignment with whoever their glossy celebrity faves support.
Its all about building their own edgy ‘brands’.
In the meantime, they are fostering an atmosphere where people are being shunned for their political and religious beliefs. We’re all talking in whispered tones like we’re living in the former Soviet Union. Worst of all, ridiculing us for who we are, how we live and what we believe has become a very trendy, open thing to do. Like a cool gossipy blood sport to cackle over. Destroying through ridicule is the name of the game.
This group are the kings and queen of clever repartee—and edgy sarcasm. It gets old.
No whispering in low voices for them.
Ah, mostly no.
The gen xers and millennials own Media - they are not reporting things like ‘Biden Laptop’ etc. The millennials believe what they hear, and they don’t listen to Terrestrial Radio. Boomers push truth but millennials And Gen xers hide the truth.
You might have made a good case but my situation is the complete opposite. I got a family of boomer and 50 year olds and at the same time cousins who got brainwashed by Boomer teachers. So I blame boomers, the liberal elite and dumb folks, a bunch were hippies or romance The Kennedy administration and later Bill Clinton. I am only 41 and I am conservative. I don’t agree one lick with my elders.

A couple of thoughts about what passes for journalism these days.
Someone years and years ago told me that journalism was a craft, not a profession.
Someone the other day told me that there’s not enough real news in a 24 hour cycle and so the same stories keep getting repeated over and over as filler.
Combine those two things and you have craft people masquerading in their own minds as professionals, not getting their fingernails dirty as honest craftsmen would, repeating ad nauseum the same tired things to a captive audience, never asking any real or risky questions.
Add to that the saturation of “always on” electronic media and you don’t have to wait for the thud of tomorrow’s print newspaper hitting your doorstep or some talking head to pop up on your TV at 6:00 p.m.
All excellent points.
Balloney. They are selfish self-absorbed little brats with no knowledge of etiquette. I wasn't paying attention much recently but do a walk 2x a day to do the daily 10k.
Today I was paying attention. Of the many young walkers I passed, not one of them moved to the side of the sidewalk. Not one. They were all plugged in, listening to whatever, and walked as if they owned the sidewalk. Somehow they think they are running General Motors and the 30 and 40 year olds they pass walking their dogs are worthless.
They are the ones who want socialism here in our country. They learned it from their parents and their university professors. They're the ones who want socialism here and they think they'll get their student loans paid.
I gave several interviews last week at a pro Trump protest. The reporters were all very young and completely ignorant. They all asked almost identical questions. By the time I was done my answers were very polished.
“I kid you not.”
Our fathers and grandfathers knew to shoot ‘em upon identification.
They were forced into hiding until the 50s.
Then the press destroyed McCarthy and here we are.
I so agree with what you’ve said here-
Anything that sustains, must have a payoff to those that practice it—I think living a moral life is it’s own payoff. Not trying to sound like Mother Theresa here!
But I think morals are so deeply baked into our faith systems because a moral society is a more stable and successful society. With people happier within themselves.
And btw—I’d say the 10 Commandments are the ultimate Best Practices guide to solid living. But of course with the #1 central addendum, the Golden Rule ;-)
wow, how interesting ...and depressing. Where is their intellectual curiosity?
That is funny, Chis Wallace who mentors young journalist and a person who those young journalist use as a role model is 73, so riddle me that.
They’ve been badly used and abused by the communist far left.
Turned into obedient mindless zombies.
