If you have a single-family detached home, you are already in their sites; they want to do away with such things (including the privacy they provide).
This isn’t a new push, but it is gaining traction since so many Western jobs were sent to Asia; how do they deal with billions of people working 60+ hours per week who want their own cars, homes, and CHILDREN?
I definitely see the “rental culture” spreading as more and more adults are childless; we pass down cars to young adult children and deal with the stress of maintaining them, we provide living space for them and storage for our “stuff” in a home - but people don’t need to be tied to that if children aren’t enrolled in certain school districts and such. Childless young adults want the freedom to pick up and leave on a moment’s notice (almost required in today’s economy), so they don’t even want to commit to car loans (never mind mortgages). They rent/lease cars, apartments, even furniture - and when an area offers nothing anymore they’re gone.
I think we spirit filled Christians can all agree that Satan's power and his ability for mass deception has exploded.
Most Americans have become drones.
I am fully convinced that is an "edict" came down to wear a shower cap on your head with your slave mask, 95% of people would comply without a whimper.
