IT'S EVEN WORSE. Biden's plan (Which is actually Gifford Law Center's plan) would define any semi-automatic rifle OR HANDGUN that can accept a detachable magazine capable of holding more than 10 rounds AS AN ASSAULT WEAPON SUBJECT TO THE NFA TAX.
That Ruger 10/22? Assault weapon. Your grandfather's 1911 that he carried in WWII? Assault weapon. Your father's Remington 7400 deer rifle? Assault weapon.

“All he has to do is get it past the Senate and the Supreme Court.”
If the fraud of the Presidential election stands - and we’ll know by 12/14 - then it’ll be done again in GA and the Dems will control the Senate. Goodbye filibuster, hello DC and PR as states (4 more Senators for them), hello to a revised NFA, hello 20 million more Dem voters, and - to speak to part of your point - hello to a packed Court (plus the lower level courts).
This is for ALL of the marbles, period. Anyone who doesn’t understand that is either not thinking things through, or they believe in Skittles-shitting, flying, unicorns.

I understand the EO portion but again only Congress can enact taxes......
EO’s historically never went there.....
The courts would shut it down immediately.....

We have to remember that Dementia Joe will ask for the kitchen sink, and then he’ll likely “settle” for “commonsense” gun control and many will say “at least he didn’t ____.”

Exactly why we desperately need to hold the Senate in the runoff elections.
Worst case, we do have the Supreme Court and I’m confident this would get struck down. Problem is, it takes years to get cases to the Supreme Court. The only bridge side is a smart cookie would file their lawsuit not just against the new law, but against the NFA itself. Throw the whole damn baby out with the bath water.

Recall what the Supreme Court did with Obama Care. They made what seemed unconstitutional “legal.”. I don’t trust the courts.

Don’t assume that we have the Senate. Stacy Abrams’ fraud machine is ramping up.

I firmly believe that Bitme will never again set foot in the WH.
If I am proved wrong, he still must have this BS passed by Congress, which which will never happen.

but you legally have to fill out the forms when you first buy the weapon at the store. And dont put anything past these bandits to bully people. But the 1st hurtle would be the courts. I doubt that any of this would be remotely legal. And unless they repeal the 2nd then they will be just pissing in the wind.

“I understand the EO portion but again only Congress can enact taxes......”
There’s already a $200 NFA tax on Class 3 weapons.
“EO’s historically never went there.....”
No, historically, EOs never created law. They did, and do, instruct all Executive Branch employees to act in a certain way WRT specified laws. So, for example, the President can state that he - the Chief Executive Officer of the US - interprets the NFA to mean that any semi-auto firearm can effectively fire bullets “as if” it was a fully automatic weapon, and thus all semi-autos are deemed to be full autos for purposes of the NFA.
“The courts would shut it down immediately....”
You mean the packed Supreme Court with 15 members, including 6 brand new “Living Constitution” Leftists? THAT Court? Yeah, if they get those 2 seats in Georgia, our Republic is OVER...they will interpret not merely the 2nd Amendment, but the entirety of our Constitution and our laws so as to best suit the Leftist/Collectivist agenda.
As the single most suck-ass President in our history once said, “Elections have consequences.” Even, it appears, STOLEN elections.
With all due respect (and I really mean that), please wake up: the Dems aren’t gentlemen, aren’t interested in either Roberts Rules of Order or the Constitution, they are interested in TOTAL power over us, PERIOD. They aren’t playing games, they are out to effectively enslave us...and grabbing our guns in one way or another (voluntary turn-ins, bogus felony convictions, pricing our right beyond our budget, outright confiscation - or some combination of those over a relatively short period of time - is one of their primary goals, as it is a bit difficult to impose a tyranny over a nation with 500 million guns, probably 100 million of which are semi-autos.

1) Biden ain’t President, 2) and won’t be, and 3) even if they cheat and say he is, 4) and he does this, I WON’T COMPLY, and 5) such an action is an automatic trigger for hot CIVIL WAR.
