Worst case, we do have the Supreme Court and I’m confident this would get struck down. Problem is, it takes years to get cases to the Supreme Court. No, historically, EOs never created law. They did, and do, instruct all Executive Branch employees to act in a certain way WRT specified laws. So, for example, the President can state that he - the Chief Executive Officer of the US - interprets the NFA to mean that any semi-auto firearm can effectively fire bullets “as if” it was a fully automatic weapon, and thus all semi-autos are deemed to be full autos for purposes of the NFA.

They aren’t playing games, they are out to effectively enslave us...and grabbing our guns in one way or another (voluntary turn-ins, bogus felony convictions, pricing our right beyond our budget, outright confiscation - or some combination of those over a relatively short period of time - is one of their primary goals, as it is a bit difficult to impose a tyranny over a nation with 500 million guns, probably 100 million of which are semi-autos.
