Nancy Reagan tried to cover up her use of an astrologer who dictated White House policy by telling the clairvoyant: 'Lie if you have to, just lie'.
The former First Lady told Joan Quigley in their final conversation that 'you can't say anything', a new documentary reveals.
Nancy was furious after her husband's chief of staff Don Regan told about Quigley's role in an explosive memoir and called her the Reagan administration's 'most closely guarded secret'.
He revealed Nancy would call Quigley up to eight times a day and without her say so Air Force One would not take off or land.

The aholes pushing these posthumous smears will scream to the rooftops, when McCain’s ghost is shown to have been a coup plotter.
Kudos to the astrologer; she has better foreign policy than any subsequent administration, until Trump.
Of course all the key participants are dead and unable to defend themselves.
I don’t know how much influence the astrologer had over white house policy. I understand, she was Nancy’s astrologer not Ronald’s.
If I recall correctly, Ronald was pretty silent on the whole affair. Which I thought was Ronald’s biggest mistake.
There was a rash of psychic hot lines and psychic services that hit the nation after Nancy’s example. That’s not a good thing. Scripture strongly warns against seeking answers from astrology and mediums.

I watched the first part of that series and posted about it here. If you can find it and ignore the bias there is some excellent rare footage of the Reagans, beautifully done. You can always turn the sound down and watch it that way.
You do know the astrologer claims she advised on the take off of Air Force One
And Nancy was big into Astrology so this is not farfetched
And she clearly had a reason to tell people to lie about it
But hey, you can pretend it never happened.

I think it is pretty well established that she did believe in it.
The fact that people want to say it is trash to talk about her beliefs shows the very reason why she wouldnt want it out there that she did believe in it.
I dont believe in it.
But so what if she did
It is part of her character and her belief system.
Why not talk about it. If you think it is trash to believe in it then YOU are the one knocking her.
