After nearly a half-century on the lam, a convicted murder who escaped custody in Pennsylvania has been arrested in Grand Blanc.
The FBI Pittsburgh Division announced Friday that Leonard R. Moses, now 68, was arrested without incident by a Fugitive Task Force out of Detroit. Moses had been at large since 1971, when he escaped custody while attending his grandmothers funeral in Pittsburgh.
At the time, Moses was serving a life sentence on a conviction of first-degree murder.

"After his escape, Moses assumed the name Paul Dickson. Since at least 1999,
Moses was employed and licensed as a traveling pharmacist in Michigan, the FBI said."
Now there's something to help instill some confidence in government.

So how many times did he vote? I don't know but I assume if he voted for Biden the FBI would have lost interest in him so probably he didn't vote at all.

... though it is very likely that his victim did vote for Biden in Pittsburgh.

I’d like to find a pic of the victim, but apparently that is not available...

Moses was employed and licensed as a traveling pharmacis It's almost as hard to become a pharmacist as it is to become a medical doctor. In most places, one must earn a bachelor's degree, overcome keen competition to get into pharmacy school and then complete a three-year program of tough classes culminating in a doctorate. This us followed by a series of exams that the candidate must pass before finally earning his license.
How was the murderer able to accomplish all of this while on the lam and living under an assumed name?

"traveling pharmacist"
Isn't that code for
Drug Dealer?

I looked up Mary Amplo on Ancestry and found her death certificate. Her COD was listed as cardiac arrest and had 3rd degree burns as a contributing factor. It states, Fire bomb thrown into home so I know its the right person. She was born Sept. 12, 1898 in Italy. Her spouse was Joseph Amplo. Imagine making the trip from Italy to the USA for a better life only to suffer a horrible death by this POS.

I glanced at old Pittsburgh newspapers about the story just now, could find no photo of the victim.

I’d be willing to bet that Pharmacists have to submit fingerprints? If not, maybe they should.

Some justice.
He got to live 50 years as a free man while his victim died a horrible death.
His justice will have to wait until the next life.
To: Fiji Hill
He probably was a delivery driver for a pharmacy.

He never would have been caught if he had not embezzled pills from the pharmacies he worked with.
