Well, since you brought it up, Hindenburg was one of the stupidest Germans who ever lived. Yes, he was the victor of Tannenberg in WW I.

But then as Reich president he stupidly and recklessly appointed Hitler as chancellor. Yes, Hindenburg was an old man at the time. No matter. He has the blood of millions in his hands.

Side note: Who’da thunk I’d get a chance to rail against Hindenburg on FR?
