I slept through a lot of my Marketing courses while attending college BUT, am wondering what exactly is the MARKETING plan now being executed by FOX.
FOX was, for the most part, filling the cavernous void of Conservative/Republican/Right of Center interests NOT being represented by:
ABC CBS NBC CNN PBS MSNBC
NOW the plan is to "ME TOO" the same leftist/liberal/Democrat coverage of every other network.
Would someone who didn't sleep in class explain.
Obviously there is now an opportunity to fill this void of roughly half the nation with a CONSERVATIVE/MAGA Media alternative.
When the swamp is facing the end of a lifestyle and for some even prison, they don’t have the luxury of thinking ahead more than a few weeks at a time, if that long.
The Murdochs are wealthy, and signed up for the cause. When Fox fails, the Murdochs will still be wealthy.
Tough luck for you chumps working for them at Fox.
Simple, they changed businesses. From a news gathering and reporting organization to a Leftwing activist organization like the rest of the media.
What the hell is with everyone talking about foxes? Are they like spreading rabies or something? Lots of talk, and now they have a marketing plan?
The market is free, the market is open here in the USA. There is nothing stopping you are anyone else from starting and network and filling that market.
They may have inherited daddy’s network, but it’s obvious they never inherited his business sense. 8>)
I believe their official marketing plan is to market the left to the US.
Their marketing plan in reality is to drive off conservative journalists, drive off Trump supporters and rebrand themselves as the next CNN.
Clearly there is no plan just as you know no adult is in charge at any of the other networks. If there were, regardless of his or her own personal beliefs, they would immediately move their network over to the Right. There is a vast market of half the country that is now not being served by any of the major “news” channels. They would capture this market by default and profit accordingly.
If none of the alphabet networks come to their senses, newsmax and OANN will grow organically until they have filled the niche. Nature abhors a vacuum.

Money, achievement, success, WINNING, mean NOTHING to the folks running FOX. They likely would PAY money to serve in the socialist order being promoted by every other network.
I think you have to go back a few years and take a look at the break up of News Corp.
FWIW, given the timing, I don’t think business considerations were the biggest thing on their minds.

Fox honchos do not want to be left out of our new Ministry of Truth, or the elite leftists’ parties and events.
Really, it’s not that hard.
Fox’s plan was always “fair and balanced.”
They were never super conservative.
They only **seem** conservative compared to the “main stream”.
Their prime-time evening and weekend shows are solid conservative, no complaints.
Their daytime shows, when the rest of us are at work, are the “balanced” part.
So, if you don’t like “balanced” watch something else during the day.
Or go back to work! ;-)

This is the second Presidential cycle where FOX tried to take out Trump at the Debates.
7 days before Wallace’s debate, the US Senate released a report saying that Hunter Biden received $3.5 Million from the Moscow Mayor.
Further, they said Hunter was sending money abroad to known Prostitution and TraffIcking Kingpins - in disturbing patterns.
Wallace refused to ask Biden about the millions paid to him by foreign Oligarchs and regimes.
Fox has been in the tank for Biden for a long time. They like to play the ratings by running back to semi-critical coverage when it doesn’t mean anything, then 8-9 weeks before Elections they try to take out Republicans.
Fox is depending on Idiots coming back before they attack Republicans during the mid-terms.
They do this despite the fact they could record profits by providing News to a vastly underserved audience.

They were overly reliant on My Pillow/Giza sheets for the future and wanted their deep state advertisers back.
The Arizona/Florida call/non-call was their penance.
“Get woke; go broke.”
It’s not about a plan but a bitchy wife and investors who are willing to turn a blind eye.
Here’s another consideration for the “business Plan”. Using my hometown newspaper, The Tampa Bay Times, as an example: why would a business such as this take a position in the community that will knowingly piss off 50% of their potential client base and make their product undesirable to purchase? This newspaper business also applies to almost all print media in the country, not just the Times. The “business planner” must have gone to Harvard to be that stupid.
Well, they did throw us Walmart chumps our own little world called “FOX NATION. On F&F they play some country music occasionally, maybe bring on Bass Pro Shops. Throughout the day we get snippets of the books they have written and want us to buy. They did send Tucker out last night to tell us they understand, want to earn our trust and they are listening.
Sounds like a plan to me.
