My Computer Goes Nuts Every Time I Freep. Anyone else?

It's fine until I tune into Free Republic, and then the screen goes upside down, or sideways, or twirls around willy nilly. Or it starts scrolling down uncontrollably and then shutting the page I'm on, and it keeps doing this even after I leave freep. Anyone else getting this problem?

Just for starters, I’ve installed DuckDuckGo, which I’ve been meaning to do anyway. I’ll see if this stops now.

Mine will never show secure on the web bar. No matter what security is on or off. That started in 2020. And, yes. Everything is up to date.

The tin foil is what I first saw!
It always was frustrating to have the signal just right while you were touching the antenna, but when you let go it went bad again. “No - I’m not going to stand here all night!”
Once I was older it did help me to me believe that folks can use metal divining rods for locating utilities. (Wood sticks for “underground rivers” - not so much.)

It’s probably Firefox. I recommend replacing AVG with Avast! and using Avast’s secure browser instead of Firefox. Firefox is buggy and subject to zero-day malware attacks.
