Mick Jagger says that he is "looking forward to coming back to an America free of harsh words and name calling."
THE ROLLING STONES frontman made his comments hours after it was announced that Joe Biden has won the United States presidency by surpassing the 270 Electoral College votes needed to defeat Donald Trump.
Earlier today, Jagger took to his Twitter and wrote the following message to his 2.2 million followers: "I'm so looking forward to coming back to an America free of harsh words and name calling and be amongst people who I know have common ground and harmony. It's a challenge but it can be done!"
This past June, THE ROLLING STONES threatened legal action against Trump if he continued to use the band's music at his campaign rallies.
The Trump campaign reportedly played THE ROLLING STONES' "You Can't Always Get What You Want" at the president's June 20 rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Last year, Jagger accused Trump of downplaying the seriousness of climate change.
"We are in a very difficult situation at the moment, especially in the U.S., where all the environmental controls that were put in place that were just about adequate have been rolled back by the current administration so much that they are being wiped out," Jagger said.
"The U.S. should be the world leader in environmental control, but now it has decided to go the other way."

...ok blubber lips
You must have been drunk and stoned out of his mind during the whole Nazi phase of the last four years.
....and the funeral procession of girlfriends committing suicide while you stood by.
If Biden won it’s not like they’d stop calling us racist, bigot, nazi, etc...
Stay put and entertain us, Jagger.
Boy is he in for a shock when the recounts flip Biden and Harris back to the basements with the rest of their cockroach friends.
“...rolled back by the current administration...”
Like many leftists, couldn’t force himself to say the words “President Trump”.
Mick Jagger is a fraud ... worried about the environment but as you point out his use of the resources is excessive compared to the average person trying to make a living. Tell you what Mick, next concert, no electricity at the venue and you walk to your show from wherever you are at to show by example how much you love the planet over money.
I’ll never hear any song of his band the same way. His fearful expression captured at Altamont in ‘69 where a black man was murdered right in front of him ... maybe the race gestapo needs to assign some culpability to him for not jumping in and stopping it.
Some 1.43 billion units of hair dye are sold in the United States annually, and 75 percent of women use dyea significant increase since 1950, when just 7 percent of women dyed their hair (12 percent of men today have used dye). The total amount of dye sold per year is probably around 92,000 tons
Well Mick, I’m not stopping anytime soon. You gotta be the ugliest looking rocker of all time.
Jagger has sympathy for the communist Chinese.
He came back soon enough for his private practice surgery though...
Mick Taylor was the true talent of the best of the Stones. Jagger was a great front man - I won’t lie. But Taylor sent them over the edge in the early 70’s.
Taylor’s thanks - a kick in the ass and a see you later.
Mick Jagger says that he is “looking forward to coming back to an America free of harsh words and name calling.”
What a pussy.
Is this AFTER the Trump lists made by radicals are cleaned and purged????
I saw the Rolling Stones at RFK Stadium back in the early 70s, they were terrible. I saw him in the 80s they were still terrible sounding. I don’t know if it’s their live concerts venues that make them sound so bad live or if they’re just better suited as Studio musicians.
I don’t deny that there is a hype but I prefer to think of it is hyperbole rather than hyperactive reaction.
I never was a big Beatle fan either, but one of the most weirdest musical things to come out of the sixties IMHO was the Sergeant Pepper’s album, lauded for its ground breaking studio creativity, and then the Rolling Stones kind of duplicating a sergeant peppery thing of their own called... something like...his satanic majesties request (or some other drivel).
I just thought that was freaking weird. Screaming mobs of “girks”, the whole scene was soooo contrived. Like politics has become. Farcical.
Get out of the limo and walk down any of a number of “Democrat controlled areas” in the USA, Mick. Preferably at midnight. Say in parts of Chicago or Oakland or St. Louis or Detroit. I am sure you will be greeted as a celebrity and there will be no name-calling whatsoever.
He better hurry up cause the grim reaper is lurking over his back.
You limy fruit... Shut upa youra mouth.
Then you had better plan on not coming back to America because if you think the election of Biden (if he manages to pull off the fraud) will stop the hate you are sadly mistaken. The democrats set the rules for the opposing party and we plan on continuing it.
