The conundrum of a Harris/Biden Presidency
me | Ta-day | Georgiana Cavendish

Posted on 11/08/2020 6:11:28 AM PST by GeorgianaCavendish

Has anyone given thought to the conundrum of a Harris Biden presidency for the Democrats? The situation that the Dems are in is not an ideal position for long term growth nor a successful presidency. Here is why:

1) At least 70 million Americans voted for Trump. A large percentage of these people love him and genuinely like him in spite of his imperfections. He is their hero.

The many Democrats and their supporters have been calling these people racists, bigots, criminals, and have been doing it, while destroying cities. This is not sitting well with regular Americans.

If Biden is propped up as President (with a more than likely 25th Amendment coming to play), there are still 70 million people who voted for Trump who love him, think he was cheated out of the Presidency, and have ever growing evidence that it happened. The evidence isn't the "birth certificate" issue of the Obama years. There is photo, video and affidavit evidence available from several states and will continue to grow as the weeks go by.

So, large portions of the US will not believe that Biden is the legitimate, legal president due to extensive voter fraud.

2) Biden has to appease his Leftist supporters. The base of the Democrat party seems to be a demographic of socialists and communists, whom like spoiled children, will temper tantrum their way to get what they want.

Americans have shown by voting in other elections this year, that they are rejecting the left's agenda. Democrats have been caught acknowledging that the leftist agenda is destroying the Democrat Party in terms of political votes. Any slightly off-of-center mandate will assuredly upset and anger millions upon millions of Americans. This will further empower the right.

People are angry and anything Biden/ Harris does will activate the Republican base who believe the Democrat position in the executive is illegitimate.

3) Midterm elections are two years away. Republicans do very well in off-year elections. Democrats know that Republicans out vote Democrats during these times, and historically these off years have been when Republicans have gained hold of the House and the Senate, and retain their majorities in state legislatures.

Any unconstitutional, socialist mandate done by Biden Harris will be seen as illegitimate and may cause an overwhelming shift in the House and possibly the Senate. This would be very bad for the Democrats.

4) The next steal will be the Senate runoff races, because without the Senate they can't ram things through Congress (assuming Dems still have a slight hold on the House). They can't nominate judges and they can't pass laws without the Senate (it's almost like the Founders knew what they were doing, eh?). Senate approval is a glorious thing.

All they have is the executive mandate, which can be damning.... But remember how many judges have been and will be out on the courts in the next months. Donald Trump and the Senate Republicans have done a beautiful thing. Any mandate will have legal challenges, with textualists and originalist on the benches.

5) Republican legislatures in states with voter fraud issues can address this fraud problem if they have the testicular fortitude (we'll see.... Balls seem to be in short supply these days). However, there is a lot of attention on this. 70 million people are pissed off, and these are not antifa and BLM supporters. They run businesses, they are public servants, they have money, they follow the laws, etc. They are the silent majority.

There is likely to be some push back involving Federalism at the state level.

6) Any draconian mandates will take time to enforce. Is the FBI really going to be driving around arresting people for not wearing masks and not quarantining? No, they are too busy posting fake messages trying to divert people away from Q and Anon websites, molesting women, faking evidence to do this. Some in the FBI might actually do legitimate work, but there isn't a federal police force with enough manpower to do this in general. They are going to do things via executive fiat in the executive agencies. This could be bad.... But...

There is a bit of a Legal SNAFU for the Democrats: Gorsuch in his lower court days, has decided against the "Chevron" defense doctorine. The Chevron Defense is an argument that courts give deference to the fact-finding and decision making of administrative agencies. What does this mean? If SCOTUS overturns this doctrine, it would mean that every time an administrative agency prosecutes a party, if that party appeals it to the federal courts it is a whole new trial. That whole new trial means that you don't have the bias of a Biden Harris administration policy from the agency. It also means that regulations aren't given the deference they are in the agencies. This creates legal pathways for Americans to get around oppressive executive mandates and the CFR (Code of Federal Regulations).

Add in that there would be legal challenges, with injunctions from individuals and states over ANY mandate that violates the Constitition. These legal battles take time. Consider the volume of court trials at the Federal dockets, injunctions and stay orders. It could be months if not years for some of the mandates to go through.

Plus, people may simply not follow the mandates. It happens all the time.

Conclusion Biden Harris and the Democrats have a quagmire. The everyday lay Democrats don't have any clue of this, but most certainly those who are looking forward understand that the Democrats are in a damned if they do damned if they don't situation. If they don't appease their base, there may be serious ramifications in terms of violence or the destruction of private property, like we've seen in the past months. If they do appease their base, there are 70 million Republicans who are pissed off that the Democrats stole an election and are passing such hordenous mandates. Biden, in their eyes, is not a legitimate president. Republicans may be angry and they may be bitter, but these are not emotions to make fun of. Bitterness is a great motivator, and it can drive people to do extraordinary things. A bitter Republican base is likely to vote for more Republicans to go to the House and to the Senate in 2 years. This would put Republicans in a substantial position to impeach both a president and a vice president if their were sufficient legal cause (remember Spiro Agnew, he wasn't impeached but he was forced to resign for corruption). Republicans majorities, if sufficient, can also get around Vetos.

You can't build a coalition around this. The long term doesn't look good for the Dems, even if they successfully STEAL the election.

Of course, I could be wrong. Maybe they don't want Biden to be president and want to upend society when their base finds out Biden didn't win. Riots and destruction galore? If this is true, perhaps our Lord could send one of those fancy blizzards he also sends to the climate meetings, just to shut things down.

Maybe Biden Harris does not care, and they have more dystopian plans in place to establish themselves as a dictatorial leftish regime (it would explain some of their policy positions). Some HAVE been salivating over this, including trash HBO late night tv discussing using the military to harm Republicans who protest a Biden election, and AOC calling for Republicans to be outted (which, btw is the stupidest thing I've heard of-70 million Americans outted as Trump supporters, the economic ramifications..... whatever). However, right now, they are not in a good enough position to do these things. Sheriffs and Chief of Police around the nation are refusing to enforce state mask mandates, and have refused to enforce other national laws. Executive mandate on guns? Fracking? Prisons? It's going to be tough to enforce without cooperation of local REPUBLICAN officials. And there are still the states, which have significant authority over the areas that leftists are calling for radical change in.

And just maybe.....they haven't looked this far ahead because they can't see the forest for the trees.

Then again, here is to hoping Donald Trump's legal appeals work and he is named President.

Good article, but the author and everyone else needs to stop writing and talking about Biden, as if he will be an integral part of any decision making or anything else.

They’re going to hide him for a few months then dispose of him one way or another.... same treatment as Scalia, 25th Amendment or prosecute him and his son for Burisma. Whichever way, he’s gone within the first year.

So, Soros and the other puppet masters were able to slip in the most hated person in Congress and someone that wants to go full bore to total communism for the USA.

The gop-e lost the House in 2018.

Unless this absentee vote fraud mess is fixed before 2022 we'll lose then as well.

There is no way to win rigged elections.

If this stands we are Venezuela, there is no coming back.

30 million amnestied illegals will make such a shift very unlikely. You know Democrats will find a way to allow most of them to vote, even if they have not yet attained citizenship.

Well, the republican party does control most of the state houses, so they could, in theory, fix a lot of stuff. the problem is, most of them appear to be RINOS.. Or maybe just plain old, every day cowards.. Whatever...

Let’s not be so pollyannish. The Ds are likely to win both Senate seats in GA in January; the Atlanta metro area has perfected the plan to dominate the State, should have known that when Toothy Abrams lost by one percentage point two years ago. Second, the Biden gang controls the Executive Branch; he can open the borders, effectively shut down the Border Patrol and create tons of new voters. Third, vote by mail, which came about due to the phony pandemic, is here to stay and it gives the Ds license to steal. Fourth, Soros has been able to place his people in key administrative roles in states throughout the US - he did it with the DA in LA, a decent liberal Dem was replaced by a lunatic leftist, he’s done it throughout the US with the state secretaries of state who control the elections. Remember how Stalin worked it - while Trotsky and more charismatic Bolsheviks were focused on their trashy issues, Stalin got his people appointed to the boring administrative Communist party posts no one wanted- scheduling, controlling the press, etc. Who won out in the end?

Here in Michigan, in 2018 the GOP got wiped out thanks to the same, old, urban voter-fraud that put biden over the top. Sure, they can hold onto(district-controlled)state legislature seats...but only a little while longer, because once that other turd proposition that passed in 2018, "redistricting by committee", kicks in...good luck with that majority.

Bottom-line with the GOP...too many milquetoasts, not enough wartime consigliere's.

There’s some insight to the article, but it’s focus is on the battle of power between the 2 parties. What should be addressed is that we are no longer a Constitutional Republic. Half the people abide and preserve our Constitution, the other half despise it and want it gone. Elimination of our checks and balances plus eradicating or fundamentally changing our Amendments and equal distribution of wealth are promises they must deliver or their new Marxist base will burn it all down, so to say.

“They’re going to hide him for a few months”

They will have to. I don’t think he’s as bad as some of the posters here believe, but I don’t think he’s up to the job. The media will cover this up as far as possible. But there’s a limit to what they can do. And the overseas media won’t be as helpful. America will become the laughing-stock of the world.

Handing the “nuclear button” to someone in the early stages of dementia is frightening.

I struggle with the term lost. I strongly believe they, lead by Ryan, intentionally let the democrats win in order to stop Trump. Lost infers they tried to win and didn't.

I smell a Kennedy-like situation...though more nuanced than a bullet.

China-Joe was put in to do someones bidding, if he doesn't satisfy in a timely manner, that same cabal will take him out.

Kamala becomes RFK, rinse and repeat

...though I think with her...they'll get their guy.

... not Kamala

...her husband.

It will be hard to hide the ongoing deterioration of Joe, won’t it? Considering how the president is in the news and public eye almost every day? His ongoing decline will become more and more apparent. I know the media and Democrats never talk about it, but as he gets older, it will become more and more obvious.

And with Joe declining, that brings up questions as to who will really be running the executive branch.

I could imagine that Joe would resign, rather than see Democrats get into the 25th amendment and pushing out a President Joe Biden that way. Then Kamala and the liberals will have their dreams of power come true.

The Ds are likely to win both Senate seats in GA in January .... not so sure about that. Republicans will show up. The Left, who knows. But a lot of that depends on Kemp and the Ga SOS about how they’ll allow the voting. If it’s in person, Perdue and Loeffler win easy.

Who won out in the end? Ronald Reagan and the United States of America

If there really ends up being a Harris presidency, I expect a lot of conservatives to tune our politics altogether and not even vote in 2022. A lot of people put a lot of time and effort in, going to rallies, surfing the web, watching the news, only to have the election blatantly stolen out from under them. We've watched the perpetraitors walk free and mock us. Never any justice. The system is broken and many simply won't participate in the system any longer.
